Description

The company offers payments, data, and financial products in one solution to businesses such as Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft, and aims to be the financial technology platform they choose.

The product experience group brings together full-stack builders who own work from research and design through content, from discovery to delivery. Their goal is to keep the company a leader in global payments by placing customers, whether shoppers or businesses, at the center of product and business decisions.

The Unified Platform sits at the core of the infrastructure. It combines accounting, reporting, billing, pricing, reconciliation, configuration, and identity and risk in one system, and every product runs through it, from in-store payments to issuing and banking.

Work on the platform covers a unified backend experience, a consistent financial architecture, accurate and self-serve financial data for customers and regulators, simpler pricing, automated invoicing, stronger visibility into money movement, and identity and risk checks from KYC and AML screening to ongoing monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and senior leadership.
  • Define and lead product experience strategy that moves business goals and success metrics forward.
  • Build and grow a team of 4 full-stack PX professionals, working as a hands-on player-coach who contributes to solution discovery and design.
  • Coach the team and make sure the quality of its work keeps raising the standard for customers.
  • Shape how traditional interfaces, AI-assisted experiences, and agentic workflows work together as AI changes what customers expect from financial data.
  • Lead work in four areas: self-serve dashboards for tracking, reporting, and balancing financial data; pricing, billing, and invoicing tools for collecting revenue globally; the central ledger and entity structure, which tracks every dollar in real time for audit and compliance; and verification, KYC/AML, and fraud prevention that keep merchant onboarding smooth.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of prior people leadership experience in product design or UX.
  • You bring deep UX craft and business sense, set a clear vision, encourage your team to experiment, and turn that vision into lasting results.
  • You work comfortably across functions and levels, from engineers to executives.
  • You balance user needs with company goals so that solutions help both customers and the business.
  • You are open-minded, curious, and optimistic, and you adapt quickly to change.
  • You create a sense of urgency, so the team moves fast to test, learn, and improve.
  • You are a natural coach and mentor whom people trust. You give clear, constructive feedback that helps people grow and raises the quality of their work.
  • You live the company's formula for success.
