Description

This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

The Opportunity

Adyen’s Partner Ecosystem is one of our fastest-growing distribution channels, and a critical path to scalably bring the best of Adyen to merchants. Through partnerships with major commerce, POS, enterprise software, and cloud platforms (such as Adobe Commerce, Salesforce, Oracle, and SAP), Adyen powers billions of dollars in global transaction volume.

We need a Product Manager to bring a cohesive vision to how we approach the Partner Ecosystem – what does a successful Partner Ecosystem look like? What are the critical Partner journeys we need to unlock and optimize? What tooling, data, and interfaces do we need to enable success? We’ve gotten this far with groups of systems that have organically grown over time – now we need you to bring a vision that helps us scale to the next level.

Working with key commercial, marketing, go-to-market, and technical delivery stakeholders, you will identify systemic friction points across partner onboarding, integration certification, ecosystem observability, and day-to-day partner operations and integrations. You will build and scale internal applications, automation frameworks, and data platforms that empower our global teams to scale partner integrations effortlessly and reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Define the Product Vision & Roadmap: Own the end-to-end product strategy for internal partner tooling, developer infrastructure, and operational workflows. Translate complex cross-functional challenges into clear product roadmaps with measurable business outcomes.
  • Build High-Impact Internal Platforms: Design and deliver internal tools and services—such as integration health monitoring, automated regression and compliance testing suites, partner certification portals, and self-service analytics platforms.
  • Eliminate Operational Overhead: Work closely with Partner Solutions Engineering to identify manual, repetitive operational bottlenecks in partner onboarding and integration maintenance. Drive automation and self-service workflows that systematically grind down operational toil.
  • Pioneer AI & Intelligent Automation: Champion the adoption of intelligent agents, LLM-powered workflows, and automated triage systems to accelerate partner enablement, technical inquiries, and documentation discovery.
  • Enhance Ecosystem Observability: Partner with data and core engineering teams to establish single-source-of-truth observability across global partner integrations, empowering internal teams to monitor transaction health, payment method performance, and authorization optimization opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue bridging Partner Engineering, Commercial Partnerships, Core Product, Technical Support, and Compliance across our global offices (San Francisco, Amsterdam, Chicago, New York, and São Paulo).

Requirements

  • Proven Product Ownership: 8+ years of product management experience, preferably leveraging tooling, developer platforms, technical workflows, or complex B2B/API products in high-growth software or fintech environments.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical foundation and fluency with modern software architecture, APIs, web technologies, and data pipelines. Comfortable having deep architectural discussions with senior engineers and solutions architects.
  • Data-Driven & Problem Solver: You excel at breaking down ambiguous, multi-stakeholder operational problems into structured, scalable solutions. You rely on qualitative user insights and quantitative telemetry to prioritize ruthlessly based on ROI.
  • User-Centric Empathy: High empathy for internal users. You listen intently to technical and operational teams to understand their daily friction and take pride in delivering software that makes your colleagues significantly more productive.
  • Autonomy & Bias for Action: You thrive in fast-paced environments where ownership is distributed. You don't wait for permission; you identify opportunities, build consensus, and drive initiatives to launch.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of synthesizing technical complexity into concise narratives for executive leadership, engineering peers, and commercial counterparts across multiple time zones.
  • Formula Fit: You embrace the Adyen Formula—you value direct communication, team success over individual ego, long-term durable outcomes, and open collaboration.
  • Total rewards & compensation
  • The annual base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $246,000 . Compensation is based on factors including qualifications, experience, and location. Total compensation package includes equity (RSUs), 401(k), health, dental, vision, and more.
  • In-office expectations
  • This role is based in our San Francisco office . We're an office-first company and expect employees to work in-office at least 3 days a week on average. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while also supporting flexibility.
