Description

The company is a global live entertainment business made up of three market leaders: a ticketing business that sold over 620 million tickets a year across roughly 10,000 clients, a concert promoter that staged more than 50,000 events a year for nearly 7,000 artists in 40+ countries, and a media and sponsorship arm that links more than 1,200 sponsors with about 145 million fans who attend its events each year.

The finance transformation role sits in the division's Analytics group and aims to change how the Finance organization works, from automating complex workflows to supporting better decisions at scale. You will work directly with Finance leadership and Accounting teams to find high-impact opportunities, then design and build AI-powered solutions for financial reporting, the close, reconciliation and forecasting.

The division's CFO sponsors a growing set of projects, and you will own each solution from discovery through to production. You will work as both a builder and a technical leader, with your code going live and your judgment shaping how AI is used across finance. The team wants someone self-directed who can bring structure to unclear problems, whether that means mapping a business process or designing an agent. They also want people who are motivated, resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking and committed.

Responsibilities

  • Build AI solutions across the accounting lifecycle, covering high-volume transaction work such as invoice coding, cash application, account reconciliations, journal-entry support and close task coordination, as well as management reporting, forecasting and decision support.
  • Apply LLMs, RAG and agentic workflows to business problems, choosing the best approach for each case.
  • Set up pilots in development environments to test solutions with business users, and work with Data Services to move them into production.
  • Work with the Data Science team on AI for forecasting and planning, including variance detection and driver analysis.
  • Work with Finance leadership and operational finance teams to learn how work is currently done, break workflows into steps and find where AI can help.
  • Translate between finance and technical stakeholders so that solutions match how the business really operates.
  • Build evaluation frameworks that measure accuracy and reliability against set thresholds, and write the documentation needed for Finance governance and audit.
  • Design human-in-the-loop review steps, exception handling and confidence-based routing so that AI solutions earn trust gradually.
  • Make sure financial calculations run through deterministic, auditable logic, not generative output.
  • Contribute reusable components, patterns and best practices that speed up AI delivery across the Analytics organization.
  • Monitor live solutions for accuracy drift, performance, cost and adoption, and improve them based on what you find.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience, including 3+ years designing and delivering production LLM-based applications and agentic workflows, with proven technical leadership.
  • Experience applying AI, machine learning or advanced automation to finance or accounting processes.
  • A solid grasp of finance and accounting concepts, including P&L structure, close and reporting processes, and how financial results tie back to transaction data.
  • Full-stack development skills to build and ship user-facing applications and review interfaces, using tools such as React or Streamlit, without depending on a separate front-end team.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, with experience working on modern cloud data platforms.
  • The ability to work independently in ambiguous settings, setting scope, setting priorities and delivering results without dedicated project management support.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical ideas to finance audiences and present clearly to senior leaders.
  • Preferred: Experience with Databricks (Apps, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Genie) or a comparable lakehouse platform.
  • Preferred: Experience integrating with ERP and accounting systems of record.
  • Preferred: Background in a multi-unit operating business, such as live entertainment, hospitality or retail.
  • Preferred: A master's degree in a related field.

Conditions

You will be based within the Analytics group, working alongside the Data Science team.

Benefits

  • Health: medical, vision, dental and mental health cover for you and your family, plus access to a health care concierge and Flexible Spending or Health Savings Accounts (FSA or HSA).
  • Personal: free concert tickets, generous paid time off including paid holidays, sick time and personal days.
  • Financial: a 401(k) with company match and a stock reimbursement program.
  • Family: new parent programs including caregiver leave, plus fertility, adoption, foster and surrogacy support.
  • Career: development programs through School of Live, tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment.
  • Community: volunteer time off and a crowdfunding match.
