Description

The company is the world's largest live entertainment group, with three businesses: a ticketing business, a concerts business, and a media and sponsorship business. The ticketing arm sells over 620 million tickets a year for about 10,000 clients worldwide. The concerts arm promotes more than 50,000 events a year for nearly 7,000 artists in 40+ countries. The media and sponsorship arm links more than 1,200 sponsors with the 145 million fans who attend the company's events each year. More details are on the company's website.

The company wants people who are driven, resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed, with an entrepreneurial streak.

This role sits in the Concerts division and reports to the Senior Manager, Analytics & Strategy. You will run social listening, reporting and analytics from start to finish, covering query building, dashboards and reports. You will find insights and trends that can be turned into stories, shape marketing strategy, and keep cross-functional partners informed on social, cultural and influencer trends. The job suits someone who likes building analytics systems that scale and who keeps a close eye on culture and platform changes.

You are a data-minded storyteller working where social media meets analytics. You will own reporting and measurement of earned conversation tied to tours, ticket on-sales and artist activations. The role suits someone as comfortable in a spreadsheet as in a comment thread.

Responsibilities

  • Own measurement and analysis of earned social conversation, including mentions, share of voice, sentiment, engagement on posts you do not own, organic reach and virality on Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube and newer platforms.
  • Monitor conversation across each tour cycle, from announcements and on-sales through to live moments. Track fan sentiment and volume, and flag shifts as they happen.
  • Measure fan and creator content: what gets made, how it spreads, which moments drive organic amplification, and how artists, media and fan accounts pick it up.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports at daily, weekly, campaign, ad hoc and post-mortem levels. Use Boolean logic to refine queries and make insights easier to deliver.
  • Run competitive and benchmark analysis to put the company's performance in context.
  • Build alerts for emerging artist topics, trends and brand risks, and help Community Management, Marketing and PR/Comms shape their responses.
  • Work with social listening vendors and internal teams to improve benchmarks, KPIs, alerts and the depth of insight.
  • Use audience demographics to surface fan insights that inform campaign planning.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years in social media analytics, social listening or digital insights, focused on earned measurement. Agency or in-house social team experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on use of social listening and publishing tools such as Meltwater, Brandwatch, Sprout and Quid, plus native platform analytics.
  • Comfort with audience demographic tools such as Audiense and with platform follower demographics through CreatorIQ.
  • Working knowledge of earned social metrics, including share of voice, sentiment and mention volume, and a clear view of which ones matter most.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and a solid grasp of Boolean logic for building queries.
  • A record of owning analytics end to end (query design, reporting, dashboards and upkeep), including spotting and fixing gaps in reporting infrastructure.
  • A real understanding of social platforms, both as a fan and as an analyst: how conversation forms, why content spreads, and what fans respond to. Curiosity about cultural trends, new formats and creator marketing.
  • Clear communication. You can turn a spike in conversation into a one-slide summary of what it means for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to juggle several projects and deadlines under pressure.
  • A proactive, collaborative team player who raises insights before they are requested and adapts to changing leadership needs.
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics or a related field.
  • A passion for live music, touring and artist marketing.
  • Experience with sentiment analysis, text or topic classification, or unstructured conversation data.
  • Familiarity with measuring creator and influencer earned coverage.
  • Experience linking earned social signals to wider marketing or fan growth outcomes.

Conditions

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Analytics & Strategy and sits in the Concerts division.

Benefits

  • Health: medical, vision, dental and mental health cover for you and your family, a health care concierge, and flexible spending or health savings accounts.
  • Personal: free concert tickets, generous paid time off including paid holidays, sick time and personal days.

  • Family: new parent programs including caregiver leave, plus support for fertility, adoption, foster care or surrogacy.
  • Career: career and skill development through School of Live, tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment.
