On-Site Marketing Rep

The company is a live entertainment business with three divisions: a ticketing division, a concerts division, and a media and sponsorship division that links brands with fans.

The ticketing arm is the global leader in event ticketing, selling over 500 million tickets a year for more than 12,000 clients worldwide.

The concerts arm is the largest live entertainment promoter in the world, staging more than 40,000 shows and over 100 festivals a year for nearly 4,000 artists in more than 40 countries.

The media and sponsorship arm works with over 1,000 brands to reach the 98 million fans who attend the company's events each year.

The concerts division runs dozens of owned and operated amphitheaters and includes touring, ticketing, venue operations, marketing and sales teams.

This is an onsite role at a venue in Waukee, Iowa, reporting to the onsite marketing team leadership and the general manager.

Responsibilities

• Escort approved photographers and videographers to their designated area for the time allotted at each show.
• Post live Instagram Stories covering each event on the venue's social media pages, keeping coverage upbeat and current.
• Shoot high-quality phone clips when the onsite and social media marketing teams ask for them.
• Watch comments and direct messages and reply promptly and professionally.
• Keep up with Instagram trends, features and best practices.
• Work with the house photographer to make sure the content captured is strong.
• Coordinate with premium seating, the ancillary team, and food and beverage to showcase specific offerings at the venue.
• Check that signage, posters, banners and digital displays are up to date and correct.
• Help with general venue tasks the general manager assigns on the night of each show.

Requirements

• Proven experience running Instagram accounts, either personal or professional.
• Creative and proactive, with strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems on your own.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven and entrepreneurial, resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed.
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree, though it is not required.
• Preferred: experience in event planning, concert promotion, or sports marketing, showing knowledge of live music.

Conditions

This is an onsite position based at the venue in Waukee, Iowa, working around show schedules.
