Description

The company is part of a global Accenture business focused on federal clients, with more than 13,000 people serving defense, national security, public safety, civilian and military health organizations.

The role centres on a platform that pairs statistical simulation, multi-agent AI and optimization modeling to help a federal agency make resource-allocation calls under uncertainty, weighing operational risk against capacity limits to suggest the best course of action.

The team is collaborative, and the company supports growth through hands-on work, certifications and industry training.

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical architecture and design choices for a platform that combines statistical simulation, AI/LLM modeling and linear optimization.
  • Direct the integration of AI infrastructure within a government cloud environment.
  • Work with client stakeholders and subject matter experts to turn mission needs into technical solutions.
  • Coach and lead a cross-functional engineering team covering simulation development, data engineering and applied AI/ML on Palantir.
  • Manage technical risk across the platform lifecycle, including testing standards, security posture, and performance and scalability reviews.

Requirements

  • You must be a US citizen.
  • You must hold an active Secret clearance.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, operations research, applied mathematics, data science, statistics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, such as 4 years of relevant hands-on work in place of a degree.
  • You have combined several computational or modeling methods into one product.
  • You have built Python-based backend systems and worked with cloud architecture.
  • You have worked with linear and mathematical optimization, such as linear programming or constraint-based modeling.
  • You have designed multi-agent AI systems, for example on AWS Bedrock or a similar platform.
  • You have built statistical simulation models, such as discrete event simulation, Monte Carlo or agent-based modeling.
  • You can work full time on-site in the DC area.
  • Preferred: experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP.
  • Preferred: experience supporting federal health, defense or public sector clients.
  • Preferred: project management, stakeholder engagement or agile delivery experience.
