Description

The company is a contract partner for large global brands, offering engineering, supply chain and manufacturing services across more than 100 sites worldwide, with 60 years in business.

This role is based within 50 miles of the Florence, KY facility. You will find and place candidates, work with hiring managers to plan staffing, and give candidates a strong hiring experience.

The team focuses on grassroots recruiting across Northern Kentucky, building talent pipelines through community partners, local workforce programs, schools and colleges, referral networks and outreach events, which also helps the company's standing in the local labor market.

As Lead Recruiter, you will handle candidate search and placement, improve processes and shape strategy, and act as client lead for the groups you support. You will work with HRBPs and Talent Acquisition Managers on sourcing plans that bring in qualified candidates and support diversity and overall hiring goals. You are the team's go-to expert on candidate approach, engagement, advising hiring teams, and offer negotiation and presentation, and you will raise the recruiting skills of the other recruiters.

  • Work with hiring managers and business leaders to define department and position staffing needs for efficient hiring.
  • Follow all company security policy procedures.
  • Take on other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Communicate clearly in writing and speech, adapt to different audiences, and handle sensitive information with care.
  • Collaborate with peers toward shared goals, hold them to their commitments, and stay approachable.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, find links between unrelated data sets, and draw sound conclusions.
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast environment, working with little supervision and moving between strategic and tactical work while staying organized and detail oriented.
  • Show initiative and sound judgment, learn systems and procedures quickly, and keep a strong client focus.
  • Pursue cost control in recruiting, look for new sourcing options, and find creative ways to deliver candidates to the customer.
  • Recruit for a broad and deep range of roles across national, international and multi-location settings.
  • Be proficient with personal computers, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or an equivalent field, which is preferred.
