Description

The company builds an AI-powered identity verification and fraud prevention platform. Businesses in fintech, crypto, gaming, mobility and marketplaces use it to confirm who their users are and whether they can be trusted, across more than 230 countries and territories. The company builds its technology end to end, and each verification adds to what it knows about how fraud works.

This is one of the first roles on the company Network, a team that will shape how the fraud offering is packaged, sold and grown.

Responsibilities

  • Turn the company's view of fraud, which spans more than any single platform sees, into products customers can see, measure and act on, and build the network that compounds that advantage.
  • Lead the Fraud product on the company Network team, making the company's detection, prevention and accuracy visible to customers.
  • Own the product experiences that deliver this, including a Feedback API that lets customers report what happened after a decision, fraud insights in Station (the customer portal), and automated fraud reporting.
  • Lead customer engagement that closes the feedback loop: customers share outcomes and signals, detection improves, and every platform on the network gains.
  • In your first 90 days, review the fraud product roadmap and packaging and agree a revised version with product and fraud leadership. Identify the top three to five improvements and move the highest-priority ones into shaping and development.
  • Within six months, launch the first updated fraud offering with a group of design and beta partners.
  • Within nine to twelve months, run a shared-signal pilot with a set of platforms as the first step toward a cross-platform fraud network.
  • Within twelve months, make the improved fraud products generally available and show measurable help in winning and closing deals with core customer segments.

Requirements

  • You have shipped fraud or risk products, or managed fraud and risk at a scaled, digital-native company. You know attack patterns, how fraud teams work day to day, and how precision and recall trade off in practice.
  • You have built network-effect or marketplace data products, where aligning incentives between participants and creating feedback loops drives the product.
  • You can define a signal, interpret a model evaluation, and ship and manage a rules engine. You know which parts to build yourself and which to hand to data science.
  • You can get fraud and trust leaders at platforms to speak openly, and turn what you hear into a clear roadmap.
  • You have shaped how a product is priced and sold, and have worked deals alongside Sales.
  • You have built products with operations teams. Their fraud experts are the reference for what fraud looks like in practice, and you translate their judgment into product. If you have not worked closely with an operations team before, you need strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Conditions

The role is based with a diverse team across the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain and Estonia.

The company is an Equal Opportunities employer and welcomes candidates of any background, including those who doubt they meet every requirement.

Benefits

  • Work from home flexibly.
  • Stock options that give you a share in the company's success.
  • Extra recharge days on top of annual vacation.
  • Extensive medical, dental and vision insurance.
  • A Learning and Development and Health and Sports budget you can spend on your own needs.
  • Four weeks of fully paid sabbatical leave after your 5th work anniversary.
  • The company is a preferred identity verification partner for many growth-driven organizations and has backing from investors including Accel, Alkeon, IVP, Tiger Capital and Y Combinator.
