Sign Up to ReadThe company is a Series C, Y Combinator-backed tech startup founded in 2017. Its product launched in 2019, it has over 5M customers, has raised $240M+, and became profitable in 2024.
It is building the first AI-powered advisor for all of a person's physical assets. It began with car insurance in 2019, became one of the top 3 brokers in the U.S., and added driving insights, diagnostics, and a repair marketplace. It is now expanding into home, motorcycle, RV, boat, and more.
The next goal is growing from 5M to 50M customers by 2030. This year the company launched five products: home insurance, property tax, motorcycle insurance, car repair shop bids, and roadside assistance. Each one has its own operational complexity, customer pain points, and path to scale.
The company has more ideas than people to execute them. It is hiring 2-3 Product Managers who will be mentored directly by the Cofounder/CEO, a two-time YC founder. Each will build or scale one of the new product verticals.
You will report directly to the CEO and see daily challenges at a late-stage startup in a fast growth phase. You will work with nearly every function, including product, growth, operations, finance, engineering, and data, and learn to run big-picture strategy in a complex business. Strong performers may move into a product or commercial leadership role, such as owning a P&L, here or elsewhere.
The team is led by serial founders and includes people from Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, BCG, McKinsey, Bain, and GEICO. The company looks for people who keep learning and pursue mastery of their craft, act like owners and fix problems outside their own area, stay resilient through hard problems, and move quickly when progress stalls.
Compensation includes a base salary and stock options. For the San Francisco Bay Area, the base salary range is 130,000-160,000 USD, and it can be adjusted based on your prior experience and job level.
You work in the Palo Alto office five days a week, at least until you can operate independently. You will work in person alongside the CEO and executive team for at least the first 6-12 months.
Most roles at the company are remote, but the company also has offices in Palo Alto, New York City, Chicago, and Toronto.
Only full-time salaried employees residing in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada can be hired, along with full-time hourly employees residing in AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, or VA. Applications from candidates living elsewhere cannot be accepted.
Starting pay falls within the posted range and depends on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Ranges depend on the market and may change. Base pay may be accompanied by equity grants.
The company is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on protected characteristics.
Part-time, contract, and freelance roles may not qualify for all benefits.
