Description

The company shapes how businesses and developers handle communications, and works remote-first across the world. It serves hundreds of thousands of businesses and millions of developers.

This is a Staff Product Manager role on the identity team. You will help grow the core identity product, which provides secure, developer-first identity experiences.

You will build products for authentication, authorization, and newer agentic and non-human identity use cases.

You will work closely with product and engineering leadership on high-impact, customer-facing features. The team runs with high ownership and startup speed, backed by the company's reach and scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design product capabilities for the identity platform that help customers secure their applications for both agentic and human identities.
  • Work with product and engineering leadership to set direction, turn customer needs into product capabilities, and build the roadmap.
  • Align with teams across the company on product direction and clear blockers on cross-team initiatives.
  • Own products end to end: write PRFAQs and product requirement documents, work with engineering and design to deliver them, and equip go-to-market teams to help customers solve their problems with the products.
  • Break down complex, ambiguous problems, make pragmatic tradeoffs, and design developer experiences customers enjoy.
  • Represent the customer in every discussion and decision so the team ships world-class products customers value.

Requirements

  • Required: 5+ years of product management experience, or 2+ years of product management plus 3+ years in an engineering role.
  • Required: Experience building deeply technical products and/or products for developers.
  • Required: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Required: Strong technical, analytical, and UI/UX design understanding.
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desired: Experience in identity and access management.
  • Desired: Experience building developer tools or SDKs.
  • Desired: You are a hands-on builder, through a hobby or your job, and enjoy seeing your work take shape.
