Description

The company turns complex data into clear, actionable insights for some of the largest enterprises across nearly every industry, and its platform covers data from the edge to AI.

This is a Lead Product Designer role focused on the design system for a suite of enterprise data platform tools used by data-driven organizations.

The design team is human first and invests in each designer's growth through outside education and direct, caring feedback from senior designers.

Mid-Senior level.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and delivery of the design system so it works across several enterprise applications and user types.
  • Work with product designers, engineers and product managers to build a shared vocabulary of reusable UI components and documentation, and keep implementation quality high.
  • Build and maintain a Figma component library and production-ready components in frameworks such as React, prioritizing performance and flexibility.
  • Create patterns for complex workflows, large-scale data visualization, customization and role-based experiences.
  • Lead how the design system is integrated with AI tools such as Figma Make, Claude and Cursor, so AI-generated UI speeds up development while following system rules and design tokens.
  • Write LLM-friendly documentation and structured system prompts, such as.cursorrules, so teams can use AI assistants effectively and stay on brand.
  • Make sure the system meets strict enterprise standards for accessibility (WCAG 2.1+, ARIA), security, internationalization (I18N) and localization (L10N).
  • Run regular audits to find inconsistencies, and define ways to measure adoption and usage.
  • Promote the design system through documentation, onboarding and cross-team communication.
  • Mentor other members of the design team.

Requirements

  • 6, 8 years of experience in UX/UI design or front-end development, including 2+ years owning or leading a design system in B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Figma Make, Claude and Cursor into scalable design and development workflows, not just using them.
  • Experience designing complex interfaces such as dashboards, analytics tools, data modeling interfaces or workflow automation platforms.
  • Ability to balance system consistency with the flexibility different products and changing business needs require.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG 2.1+, ARIA), I18N/L10N, design tokens and theming.
  • Self-directed and a clear collaborator who can handle shifting priorities and ambiguity in a fast-moving, high-growth setting while championing system-level design.
  • Command of user-centered design methods and design principles (grid, typography, color), with meticulous attention to detail for enterprise software.
  • Know how to structure design system documentation, design tokens and component APIs so generative AI coding assistants can read and use them.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
