Staff Product Designer - (Logistics, Customer)

Description

You will shape how millions of customers track their orders in over 70 countries, across several brands in the group, and you will own the order tracking experience from first idea to launch.

You will set the direction for order tracking across the group's consumer apps and work in the Customer Product Line design chapter within Logistics, balancing user needs and business goals with technical feasibility.

You will join the Order Tracking team alongside researchers, product managers and engineers.

Logistics works on making last-mile delivery efficient, affordable and sustainable for riders, customers and merchants worldwide, and supports expansion into grocery and retail.

The company is headquartered in Berlin, operates in around 65 countries, has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2017 and is part of the MDAX index.

Responsibilities

• Take the order tracking experience from ideation to launch, making it intuitive, visually strong and buildable.
• Turn research findings, user feedback and A/B test results into improvements to the tracking journey.
• Help shape the product roadmap, giving priority to features that lift engagement and the delivery experience.
• Co-create with researchers, product managers and engineers, and run workshops and design sprints to keep teams aligned.
• Lead on visual design, interaction design and accessibility, and help evolve the design system so the experience stays consistent across platforms.
• Mentor other designers and help build a culture of continuous improvement with users at the centre.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a product designer on complex platforms, with app experience being essential.
• Experience contributing to design systems.
• Strong visual design skills and a user-centred way of thinking.
• Strategic thinking, including facilitating workshops and analysing design metrics.
• Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management, with a collaborative style that motivates others.
• Experience designing B2C products.
• Familiarity with animation concepts.

Conditions

Hybrid working: you spend 2 days a week in person at the Berlin campus.
