Description

You will join the Diagnostics division of the company, where a team of technologists builds a decentralized, enterprise-wide data ecosystem.

The role links the company's global technology group with local business teams. You will work closely with Data Domain Leads and Product Owners to turn raw data into data products people can trust.

Responsibilities

  • Design the overall structure of Data Mesh architectures and integrated data solutions, from identifying sources to delivering the final data product, so each stage matches business needs.
  • Define and build reusable, discoverable Data Products with solid governance, meeting access management, data classification, audit traceability and regulatory rules such as GxP and GDPR.
  • Work with Data Domain Leads, Sub-Domain Leads and Data Product Owners to turn complex business requirements into sound, scalable data architecture proposals.
  • Lead and coach a delivery team of external data engineers, raising technical standards and encouraging ownership and steady improvement.
  • Improve domain data processes, with a focus on pipeline design and enterprise data modeling that meets system and user needs.
  • Oversee building of end-to-end data pipelines and improving cloud performance using Python, dbt, GitLab CI/CD, Talend and API consumption.

Requirements

  • A proven record of designing and running Data Mesh architectures, managing cloud platforms such as Snowflake, and managing Data Products in complex enterprise settings. Experience with AWS is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience designing scalable enterprise data models with Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modeling, along with working knowledge of Python, dbt, GitLab CI/CD, Talend and API ingestion.
  • Broad experience applying data quality standards across whole data pipelines, and a good understanding of observability principles for keeping systems healthy.
  • The ability to act as a trusted, candid advisor to business stakeholders, handling complex data discussions with clear, data-driven reasoning.
  • A track record of guiding, influencing and raising the technical standards of data engineering teams in a fast-moving environment.

Conditions

The role follows a hybrid model with an average of two office days per week. Office days can change to fit workshops, conferences, town halls, team meetings and other collaborative events.

The primary location is Warsaw Grafit. The role is also posted in other locations, and if you apply for one of those, the Talent Acquisition Partner will share local pay information before any business interview.

The employment contract is a UoP contract. The expected salary is 19,075.00 to 35,425.00 PLN gross per month, or 228,900.00 to 425,100.00 PLN gross per year. Final pay depends on your skills, experience, qualifications and location.
