Junior R&D Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Run complex R&D projects that span several locations.
• Direct internal teams and external partners working on the same initiatives.
• Keep projects on track for cost, schedule and quality.
• Make sure internal customers are satisfied and that projects deliver real value.
• Spot risks, changes and opportunities early and act on them.
• Keep stakeholders and management informed and work closely with them.
• Apply established project management practices.
• Ensure work follows applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, business administration, project management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in R&D or technical project management, in the energy sector or a comparable industrial setting.
• Solid grasp of engineering principles and energy sector technologies, so you can talk effectively with technical teams.
• Ability to analyse project data, find trends and build data-driven fixes that improve performance.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Working knowledge of project management tools and familiarity with the gate model.
• Experience working in international, cross-cultural teams.
• Proven record of leading and motivating diverse teams and stakeholders while building teamwork and open communication.
• Optional: familiarity with transformers and product development is a plus.
• Optional: a PM certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 or CAPM is preferable.
