  • Help shape the ENT data strategy and convert it into roadmaps and ranked backlogs.
  • Work with product, hardware, and software teams to set data requirements, telemetry specifications, and connectivity needs for surgical capital products.
  • Lead teams through trade-offs in data storage and flow, weighing latency, security, scalability, and bandwidth in operating rooms.
  • Direct the use of analytics, visualization, and statistical or machine learning methods that turn raw device and clinical data into insight for product and commercial decisions.
  • Align nontechnical business and clinical stakeholders with engineering teams, and escalate and clear blockers.
  • Make sure programs meet the company's quality, regulatory, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field plus 5 years of relevant technical program or project management experience, or a master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Background leading cross-functional technical programs from concept to launch, owning schedule, dependencies, risk, and stakeholder communication across hardware, software, and quality teams.
  • Hands-on delivery of connected-device or IoT capabilities, such as device-to-cloud data flows, telemetry, or connectivity services.
  • Track record selecting, managing, and overseeing third-party technology vendors or partners, including scope and deliverables.
  • Experience turning business, clinical, or end-user needs into written technical requirements and roadmaps.
  • Preferred: experience in medical device or other regulated product development, including design controls and phase-gate processes.
  • Preferred: experience with surgical capital equipment, operating rooms, or hospital IT integration.
  • Preferred: experience building integrations using healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) or EHR/EMR systems.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS or Azure and with storage spanning cloud, edge, and local deployments (SQL/NoSQL, data lakes, time-series).
  • Preferred: experience defining or directing telemetry schemas, data specifications, and logging requirements for hardware and software teams.
  • Preferred: experience applying analytics, visualization, or statistical/ML methods to device or clinical data to guide product decisions.
  • Preferred: experience developing products under FDA SaMD/SiMD guidance, ISO 13485, or ISO 14971.
  • Preferred: experience applying data privacy and cybersecurity requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, UL 2900, FDA premarket cybersecurity guidance) to product data.
  • Preferred: experience with enterprise data platforms and governance, such as data warehousing, cataloging, or data quality frameworks.
  • Preferred: PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification.
