Junior Developer – C# .Net

Description

The company's Core Tribe maintains and evolves its business-critical insurance and claims systems. The tribe works across Finland and Norway in small squads that pair business domain experts with IT professionals, and includes colleagues from the company's internal IT units as well as external partners, with collaboration across Norway and India.

You will help evolve the Norwegian applications that support the core systems, which are central to daily operations. You will work alongside senior developers, the Product Owner and the tribe architect to keep solutions aligned with the company's architectural principles. The work includes modernising legacy platforms and maintaining an ecosystem of applications for the Policy and Claims systems in Norway.

The role suits a technically sound developer who cares about quality and durable solutions, communicates clearly, collaborates across roles, takes ownership of their work and looks for ways to improve. You work openly and pragmatically when solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Build solutions with senior developers and the tribe architect.
• Take part in discussions about business requirements.
• Keep coding standards, version control, security and documentation consistent across the work.

Requirements

• Solid experience with C#,.NET and Azure application development and maintenance.
• Working knowledge of enterprise solutions and REST APIs.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Some SQL experience and hands-on.NET debugging skills.
• Optional: familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Optional: experience working in an Agile setup.
• Optional: Python skills.
