DevOps Engineer – DNS, DevOps and Cloud Platform

Description

You will own the DNS service and the cloud platform it runs on.

The Central Services team builds and runs the foundation services other teams depend on: naming through DNS, identity and traffic protection through certificates, and automation with self-service. Your work is used every day across a large organisation.

Central Services sits within the Connectivity Platform, which provides secure, reliable and predictable connectivity across data centers, offices, Azure and AWS. The team is six engineers based in Stockholm, Sweden and Riga, Latvia.

You will mainly develop and maintain the DNS service, which manages domains and records. You will make sure requests and changes raised in ServiceNow are handled securely and in an orderly way.

You work both alone and with the team, and you take an idea through to a running service. There is room to shape how the team works and to build your skills in cloud and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the DNS service in C.
• Run public and private DNS, including monitoring and orchestration.
• Govern the organisation's domains and DNS records through ServiceNow.
• Build and operate Azure resources as infrastructure as code using Bicep or Terraform.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with access management and identity integration using Entra ID or Curity.
• Improve the security, stability, monitoring and cost of the platform.
• Support development teams and share your knowledge with them.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in C.
• Senior-level experience in Azure and Azure resources.
• Senior-level experience in Azure DevOps.
• Senior-level experience in infrastructure as code with Bicep or Terraform.
• Experience managing DNS.
• Experience with certificate management, covering OV, DV and Private CA.
• Experience working in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of access management.
• Good command of English and Swedish.
• Advantageous: experience with PowerShell.
• Advantageous: experience with networks.
• Advantageous: experience with firewalls.
• Advantageous: experience with the ServiceNow API.
• Advantageous: experience with GitHub Enterprise.
• Advantageous: experience with containers.

Conditions

Some travel is expected.

Start date: 1 February.
