Description

The company is hiring a Group Product Manager to join its Product Management team.

The company calls itself the first health insurance company built on a full stack technology platform. It was founded in 2012 to offer the kind of coverage its founders would want for their own families.

A new all-in-one storefront will change how Americans shop for healthcare. It connects consumers and brokers to every major individual market plan and a selected range of ancillary and supplemental products.

The Group Product Manager leads the product team for the enrollment platform behind the broker, consumer and employer experiences. You will set EDE platform product strategy while working closely with Engineering, Data and Design and managing a team of product managers. You will set priorities for the roadmap across growth, compliance, usability and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape the vision, strategy and roadmap for the enrollment platform.
  • Work with cross-functional leaders from Product, Design, Data and other departments to set strategy and roadmap.
  • Make resource trade-offs with Engineering and Product leadership and keep teams working well together.
  • Advise leadership on improvements to existing products and on new products to build.
  • Build operating models for new products alongside leadership.
  • Mentor, coach and support a team of Product Managers.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of product management experience.
  • At least 2 years of people management experience.
  • Bonus: strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a record of using data to find opportunities, test ideas and measure results.
  • Bonus: an end-to-end mindset that moves from top-level goals down to fine detail and builds the solution across the whole path.
  • Bonus: the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at every level, communicating clearly and thinking in structured ways.

Conditions

The role is based in the New York City office on a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office per week. Thursday is a required in-office day for team meetings and events, and you choose your other two office days.

The base pay range is $180,504.00 to $236,911.50 per year. Final offer amounts within that range depend on skills, education and experience.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and aims for a workplace where people can be themselves and feel they belong.

Benefits

  • Full-time employees receive medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and 401(k) plan participation.
  • Full-time employees get 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, and paid wellness time with reimbursements.
  • Unlimited vacation under the company's program.
  • Eligibility for company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.
