Description

The company is a health insurer built on a full stack technology platform, founded in 2012, and it is hiring a Senior Product Manager for the Lucie Health Marketplace team.

Lucie Health Marketplace is a new all-in-one storefront that aims to change how people in the US buy healthcare, much as they already buy cars, homes and everyday goods. It will serve entrepreneurs, full- and part-time employees, gig workers and early retirees.

The marketplace serves direct-to-consumer and ICHRA employee shoppers, who get AI and broker support while comparing health plans, supplemental products, telehealth benefits and other healthcare goods and services.

You will set the marketplace product strategy and work closely with Engineering, Data and Design. You will set priorities across growth, user experience, AI and strategic partnerships, and you will work with the product managers for the enrollment platform and ICHRA tooling to build one end-to-end shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, strategy and roadmap for the product investments behind the marketplace, and build solutions that fit that strategy.
  • Define OKRs and KPIs that measure business and operational results, and keep looking for ways to improve them.
  • Find and bring together the right people to solve strategic or execution problems, including problems that are not yet clearly defined.
  • Work across teams and domains to find root causes quickly, weighing speed, scalability and quality when choosing a fix.
  • Lead complex initiatives by influencing people without formal authority, managing timelines, team accountability and risks.
  • Work with engineers, product managers and operations partners to learn what users need and ship features that improve operational and financial efficiency.
  • Write clear, complete requirements, backed by data and user research, and share them across stakeholders. Create documents that junior team members can learn from.
  • Mentor junior product team members to help them grow.
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Take on other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of cross-functional work with engineers, designers, operations experts and others, in product management or a closely related role.
  • 4+ years of running rigorous prioritization processes.
  • 4+ years working with technology systems, including basic infrastructure such as backend services, database relationships and SQL.
  • 2+ years leading complex initiatives that span several domains.
  • 2+ years finding root causes of unclear problems, building a roadmap to solve them and delivering against it.
  • Bonus: experience in ecommerce or two-sided marketplaces.
  • Bonus: deep knowledge of A/B testing practices.

Conditions

This is a fully remote role open to candidates who live in Boston, MA. The approach to work may change, and future models could include hybrid time at the hub office in your metro area.

The base pay is $163,944.00 to $215,176.50 per year. Final offers within that range depend on your skills, education and experience.

Equal opportunity: the company aims for an inclusive workplace where people can bring their full selves to work.

Benefits

  • Eligible employees receive medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
  • Full-time employees get 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave and paid wellness time, plus wellness reimbursements.
  • Access to unlimited vacation under the company's program.
  • Company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.
