Position Summary

You will shape how Delinea helps organizations secure identities and control who can do what across their environments. You'll own the product strategy for authorization and privileged access: determining who gets access to which resources, under what conditions, and with what oversight. Your work will help customers reduce identity-based risk, enforce least privilege, and prove compliance, while keeping authorization decisions consistent, explainable, and practical for the people who rely on them every day. You'll set the vision and work directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to bring it to life.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers, including security architects, CISOs, IAM administrators, and auditors, to understand their authorization and identity security challenges and validate solutions that reduce risk without slowing the business down.
  • Define and communicate a product vision for authorization that aligns with the evolving threat landscape and the growth of machine and non-human identities.
  • Drive capabilities for fine-grained, context-aware authorization, including attribute-based, and policy-based access models, so access decisions reflect identity, risk, and context.
  • Strengthen least privilege, zero trust, and just-in-time access, along with the approval workflows, visibility and audit evidence needed to show why access was granted, by whom, and for how long.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, architecture and the GTM teams from problem definition through launch.
  • Track emerging trends in authorization, privileged access management, and regulatory requirements, and bring the best ideas back into the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a similar field preferred.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing product management experience, ideally in identity security, authorization, privileged access management (PAM) or the broader cybersecurity space.
  • Strong understanding of core identity security and authorization concepts: least privilege, zero trust, separation of duties, RBAC/ABAC/PBAC.
  • Familiarity with externalized authorization and policy-based access control approaches (e.g. OPA, Cedar) is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and the authorization and access challenges they introduce.
  • Track record of successfully bringing security products or capabilities to market and driving customer adoption.
  • Experience with workflow automation or orchestration concepts is a plus.
  • Experience with API-first design and enterprise integrations is a plus.
  • Pragmatic Marketing or Scrum Product Owner certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, with a curious attitude and a desire to collaborate with a team of first-rate engineers, designers, and other Product Managers.
  • Travel Expectation: Up to 10%
  • Why work at Delinea?
