Description

About Delinea:

Delinea is the identity security platform that continuously controls what AI agents, humans and machines can do and for how long. It extends privileged access management from the point of access to the moment of action, using just-in-time authorization to reduce standing privilege across on-premises, multi-cloud and short-lived infrastructure, without adding friction for legitimate users. Delinea provides visibility across every identity type, scores the risk each one carries, and preserves the context behind access decisions, making them auditable and defensible. It supports both static and ephemeral access, letting teams apply Zero Standing Privilege where risk demands it without replacing existing infrastructure.

Salesforce Administrator / Developer, Service Cloud & Experience Cloud Summary:

Delinea secures human and machine identities for some of the largest organizations in the world. Our Customer Support, Customer Experience and Professional Services teams run on Salesforce, with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud at the center, connected to NetSuite, Gainsight, Jira Service Management and Certinia PSA. You will decide when a problem is solved with Flow and when it needs Apex, and then build it either way. You will work alongside a platform lead who sets engineering standards and reviews designs, and business partners who will feel your decisions first.

Two halves of one job:

This is a hybrid role with the quarter. We are explicit by design, roughly 60% administration and 40% development, shifting out the split so you can judge whether it fits you.

The problems you'll solve:

Make the customer portal something customers choose to use. Knowledge they can find, cases they can log and track, and custom components where the standard ones fall short, with a measurable lift in deflection.

Prove external access is right. We are an identity security company. Guest user access, sharing sets, external user licenses and the Apex that runs behind them will be reviewed, documented and defensible. You will be the one who can explain every grant and every without sharing.

Bring AI agents into support safely. Configure Agentforce for Service and write the invocable actions it calls, and make sure what an agent says to a customer is accurate before it says it.

Ship changes people trust. Flow or Apex, every change moves through DevOps Center with approval and test evidence, and the people affected hear about it first.

What success looks like at 12 months:

Case routing and entitlements reflect Support's current SLAs, and SLA attainment is reported from Salesforce without manual work.

A completed security review of the Experience Cloud site and the code behind it, with findings closed and an owner for every external access path.

Portal deflection measurably up, with a Knowledge structure Support maintains without you.

At least one Agentforce for Service capability in production, with a custom action you wrote and a guardrail you defined.

Every change in your scope, declarative or code, carries approval and test evidence; zero change-control exceptions across the year's audits.

How you'll work:

Judgment first. The most important decision you make each week is configure or code. You will be able to explain why either way, and you will write it down.

Directly with the business. You sit with Support, CX and PS leaders, understand the problem behind the request, propose options, and say no with an alternative when that is the right answer.

Inside a team. The platform lead sets standards, reviews designs at checkpoints and owns API contract decisions. Code is reviewed before merge, with pairing from a senior engineer on unfamiliar ground.

In a SOX-regulated environment, where approval, testing and documentation are how good work is done, not a tax on it.

Project work lives in Azure DevOps; support tickets live in Jira Service Management.

What you'll bring:

Hands-on ownership of Salesforce Service Cloud in production: case management, routing, entitlements and Knowledge.

Apex and Lightning Web Components you have written, tested and shipped to production yourself, including at least one asynchronous job and one trigger, with a clear sense of governor limits and bulkification.

Experience configuring Experience Cloud sites, including external users, sharing sets and guest user security, and an understanding of how Apex sharing behaves for external users.

Deep working knowledge of the Salesforce security and sharing model, applied with least privilege in both configuration and code.

Clear written communication: design notes, release notes and documentation a non-technical stakeholder can act on.
