Pinterest is uniquely positioned across the full consumer journey—from inspiration and discovery through consideration, planning, and action. As advertisers increasingly rely on independent measurement partners to validate performance and guide investment, Pinterest has an opportunity to turn trusted measurement into a powerful engine for better outcomes. This role will define how Pinterest connects partner measurement with insights, recommendations, activation workflows, and ads optimization—helping advertisers understand the value they derive from Pinterest and act on those insights to maximize measurable business results.

The ideal candidate is a Staff-level product leader with substantial ads measurement and performance advertising experience. They understand the measurement partner ecosystem, how advertisers evaluate sales and long-term value, and how independent measurement can inform media planning, activation, and optimization. They have worked cross-functionally with engineering, data science, partnerships, marketing science, PMM, sales, legal, privacy, and policy teams and can translate complex methodologies and partner data into credible, scalable products.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and end-to-end execution for Measurement Partner Optimization and for productizing performance optimization at Pinterest, with measurement as the tip of the spear. Define the vision for new and existing capabilities that turn trusted partner measurement into scalable insights, recommendations, activation workflows, and optimization products. Translate advertiser and partner needs into clear product, data, and technical requirements, and deliver a multi-quarter roadmap that drives measurable advertiser outcomes.
  • Partner day-to-day with engineering, data science/analytics, partnerships, marketing science, and product teams to align partner-platform architecture, data contracts, methodological standards, experimentation, privacy controls, and optimization guardrails. Collaborate with PMM, sales, legal, privacy, and policy/integrity on launches, and coordinate dependencies across the ads stack so client measurement systems, Pinterest infrastructure, ads delivery systems, and customer-facing experiences work together cohesively and credibly.
  • Build new and iterate on measurement-to-optimization products that help advertisers understand Pinterest’s incremental value and take action to improve sales, return on ad spend, and long-term business outcomes. Establish validation and quality standards, define success metrics up front, drive go-to-market and adoption, monitor product and partner performance after launch, and use advertiser feedback and measured results to continuously improve the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience working as a Product Manager or in a related role, including 3–5+ years of substantial ads or marketing measurement experience.
  • Strong evidence of the ability to define new products and strategies in an ambiguous space and execute from ideation and multi-quarter roadmaps through go-to-market, adoption, and iteration.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing, how advertisers establish objectives and deploy tactics, and how they evaluate outcomes including incremental sales, return on ad spend, and long-term value.
  • Experience working with engineering, data science, analytics, partnerships, marketing science, research, or PMM cross-functional teams, as well as directly with advertisers, agencies, or external partners.
  • Strong quantitative judgment and understanding of attribution, incrementality, experimentation, lift, partner methodologies, data quality, and measurement tradeoffs.
  • Ability to translate complex measurement outputs into actionable insights, recommendations, activation workflows, or optimization products while balancing methodological rigor, privacy, advertiser trust, and business impact.
  • Preferred but not required: Hands-on experience in performance advertising or building advertiser-facing measurement, optimization, or decisioning products.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience working with measurement partners, agencies, marketing science teams, clean rooms, marketing mix modeling, cross-channel measurement, or privacy-safe measurement.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience designing, running, or analyzing incrementality or lift experiments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
