The equipment the company builds and services supports AI and speeds up next-generation semiconductor chips. The work is part of the electronics industry's base, and the team pushes what is possible in materials science and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Resolve software application and system issues of low complexity on the company's equipment, with some supervision.
• Handle customer software support requests through the software ticketing system.
• Help analyse software problems that field engineers report from customer tools.
• Work toward group objectives and deliver on schedule.
• Build a beginner-level understanding of the business unit's products, system software, troubleshooting tools, best-known methods and the infrastructure needed for your work.
• Complete all company-level training and certifications needed to build product knowledge.
• Learn the equipment software documentation, key customer features, and installation and upgrade steps for software releases.
• Take part in after-action reviews to find root causes.
• Record your work in line with best-known-method practices.

Requirements

• Apply conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices and procedures in your discipline, and general business knowledge from education or past work.
• Use existing procedures to solve standard problems and make sound judgments from information and standard practice.
• Work within standard procedures to meet objectives and deadlines, with limited impact beyond your own team.
• Share straightforward information, ask questions and confirm understanding.
• Pay close attention to detail, stay curious and want to understand how things work.
• Manage many priorities and focus on what matters most.

• No supervisory duties. You are expected to build your own technical contribution.

Conditions

Salary range: $70,000.00 - $95,500.00.

Location: Austin, TX.

Full-time, assignee/regular role.

Travel: 20% of the time.

Relocation assistance is available.

Pay is based on location, hire grade, job knowledge, skills, experience, and fairness to current team members.

For sales roles, the posted range is Target Total Cash, which is base salary plus target bonus at 100% goal achievement.
