Global Product Support Engineer III

You would join a team at a company central to the electronics industry.

Responsibilities

• Use project management, mechanical skills and data analysis to write and publish maintenance plans for new products.
• Diagnose field problems and make sure new product launches go smoothly.
• Help install new products in the lab and in the field.
• Work with Manufacturing to write procedures and, where needed, take part in final testing of new products.
• Write new procedures and Best Known Methods (BKMs) for servicing new products.
• Lead efforts to resolve key issues with Engineering.
• Join beta site test planning and reporting.
• Review and fix top field issues with the Q&R group (Quality & Reliability).
• Contribute to new procedures, Customer Engineering Notices (CENs), Internal Service Bulletins (ISBs) and troubleshooting guides as needed.
• Identify new parts that need stocking by AGS and work with them to get parts into the right locations.
• Share your work through presentations, reports and verbal updates for different stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in an engineering or technical field.
• Travel is required, 20% of the time.
• Preferred: ability to build trust while collaborating and communicating well with others.
• Preferred: hands-on hardware troubleshooting and maintenance across electrical, software, chemical and mechanical systems.
• Preferred: experience leading small teams, with interest in managing people.
• Preferred: manage several projects at once and set priorities to fit business needs.

Conditions

Salary range: $108,000.00 - $148,500.00. Pay depends on location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity with current team members.

For sales roles, the posted range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range: base salary plus target bonus at 100% goal achievement.

Full time, regular assignment.

Based in Kalispell, MT. Relocation is available.

Travel is 20% of the time.
