MV Support Engineer Intern - Germany

Description

The team sells machine vision products, and this internship supports the sales side of that work, with a focus on technical questions and testing.

The role is based in Germany, and the posting lists an internship of at least 5 months.

Responsibilities

• Help the sales team assess whether projects are feasible, test product functions, evaluate solutions, and talk through customer requirements.
• Answer technical questions raised during customer testing and help troubleshoot hardware and software problems on machine vision products.
• Pass product and technical requirements to the headquarters team in a timely way, and keep communication and collaboration running across functions.
• Help with after-sales RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) cases, including investigating quality issues, tracing products, and handling related communication.
• Help train international colleagues and customers by preparing technical guides, FAQs, instructional videos, and other support material.
• Support exhibitions and trade shows with equipment coordination, device setup, debugging, and on-site help.

Requirements

• Be working towards a bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Mechatronics, Optoelectronics, or another relevant engineering or technical field.
• Be available for an internship of at least 5 months.
• Have basic knowledge of optics and electrical engineering, and be able to program in at least one language.
• Learn quickly, enjoy digging into technical problems, and solve problems analytically.
• Be well organized, communicate clearly, and work well in a team.
• Speak Chinese at native level, write and speak English well, and work professionally in German.

Conditions

The internship is based in Germany.

The minimum internship length is 5 months.
