Description

The team drives the move to autonomous operations in semiconductor manufacturing, combining AI, robotics and digital twin technology.

Solutions are built and rolled out across the company's fabrication and assembly/test sites worldwide to make plants safer, smarter and more efficient at scale.

The company makes memory and storage products and is a world leader in that field.

This role covers the full build cycle for AI products used by engineers, operators and business leaders: data pipelines, models, APIs, front ends, digital twin links and cloud or edge deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Take AI products from design to production, covering ingestion, feature work, model training and inference, APIs, user interfaces and monitoring.
  • Build and maintain front ends in React, Angular or Streamlit, backed by Python and FastAPI services.
  • Connect factory systems, robots, AMRs, sensor networks and enterprise software so plants can run intelligently.
  • Create and run digital twins in NVIDIA Omniverse, Gazebo or Unity Robotics Hub to simulate, validate and tune operations.
  • Bring LLMs, agentic AI and AI decision support into live manufacturing workflows.
  • Ship containerised applications with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD across cloud and edge environments.
  • Speed up AI and simulation workloads through GPU use, performance tuning and model optimisation, following Responsible AI standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years building and deploying production web applications, AI solutions or both.
  • Strong Python and modern JavaScript or TypeScript, with experience designing scalable architectures.
  • Experience building ingestion, ETL or feature engineering pipelines for AI/ML at scale.
  • Hands-on work with one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP), Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and the databases used in enterprise applications.
  • Preferred: master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, data science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: experience in semiconductor, advanced or industrial manufacturing, automation, digital twins or other high-reliability operations.
  • Preferred: experience delivering generative AI, including RAG, prompt engineering, function and tool calling, agentic workflows and LLMOps.
  • Preferred: hands-on use of digital twin and simulation tools (NVIDIA Omniverse, Gazebo, Unity Robotics Hub, Siemens Tecnomatix, Unreal Engine) and the Autodesk stack (Revit, Navisworks, ACC, ReCap), including point-cloud processing, photogrammetry, Gaussian splatting and IFC and Revit API geometry optimisation.
  • Preferred: experience integrating robotics, AMRs, industrial automation and IoT sensors into software, with ROS/ROS 2 and Isaac Sim/Lab, SLAM, LiDAR and depth-camera processing, and sim-to-real transfer (imitation learning, domain randomisation).
  • Preferred: proven integration of SCADA, FMCS or BMS systems for smart facilities and EHS, ideally in semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical or cleanroom settings.
