Description

The company is a large healthcare services and products business whose work touches most parts of the healthcare system.

This role sits on the Imaging and Content Platforms team and supports enterprise content management, digital document workflows, ERP-related modernization and related platform work.

You will turn business needs into clear, actionable requirements and help business, product, architecture, integration, compliance, operations and delivery teams stay aligned.

The role calls for a product owner mindset alongside solid core business analysis skills: understanding the business outcomes behind each request, helping stakeholders set priorities, judging options against what the platform can already do, contributing to backlogs and roadmaps, and balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform health.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with enterprise content management, workflow, document capture, e-signature, digital fax or similar configurable platforms, and can run discovery, requirements, process analysis, testing readiness, stakeholder communication and delivery support on their own.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery sessions, requirements workshops, process mapping discussions and stakeholder interviews with business and technology teams.
  • Document and maintain business, functional, integration, data, reporting, security, compliance and operational requirements for content and document workflow solutions.
  • Turn complex processes into requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, business rules and implementation-ready documentation.
  • Pin down the outcomes people want and the problems behind them, question assumptions, and propose practical options rather than just recording requests.
  • Work with platform owners and stakeholders to assess and rank enhancements by business value, strategic fit, risk, compliance, effort, dependencies and long-term platform sustainability.
  • Help shape product backlogs, release plans, demand management and platform roadmaps.
  • Build working knowledge of the assigned platform's capabilities, limits, configuration, integration patterns and support needs.
  • Support ERP-related content work covering capture, storage, retrieval, metadata, taxonomy, retention, lifecycle, security and integration.
  • Work with architects, developers, vendors, ERP teams and integration partners to compare options, track dependencies and keep traceability from design through build, testing, deployment and hypercare.
  • Lead current-state and future-state analysis of processes that involve enterprise content management and related platforms.
  • Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, data validation, cutover and production readiness, stakeholder sign-off and post-deployment work.
  • Identify and communicate risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions, change impacts and operational considerations.
  • Make sure solutions meet enterprise architecture, information security, privacy, records retention, auditability and support standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, computer science, healthcare administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years working as a business analyst, business systems analyst, product analyst, functional analyst or similar role in technology delivery.
  • Practical experience with enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, document management, workflow, business process automation or other configurable platforms.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to weigh options, rank competing needs and recommend solutions that balance business outcomes against technical and operational factors.
  • Experience supporting UAT, test coordination, issue tracking, release readiness or solution validation.
  • Able to work independently, handle ambiguity and communicate clearly with business users, technical teams, vendors, project partners and leadership.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, problem-solving, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience supporting, implementing, configuring, administering or optimizing enterprise content management, imaging, document capture, records management, e-signature, digital fax or workflow automation platforms.
  • Preferred: experience with Nuxeo ECM, Perceptive Content/ImageNOW, OpenText, DocuSign, RightFax, Hyland Intelligent Document Processing or comparable technologies.
  • Preferred: experience as a business analyst, product analyst, product owner, platform owner, functional lead or similar role balancing business demand, platform capability and operational priorities.
  • Preferred: experience with metadata, taxonomy, document lifecycle management, records retention, security models, workflow configuration, REST APIs or enterprise integration patterns.
  • Preferred: experience supporting or integrating with SAP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, JDE, Workday or similar enterprise systems.
  • Preferred: experience with large-scale deployments, platform integrations, modernization, product lifecycle planning or business transformation.
  • Preferred: experience in large, matrixed, regulated environments with compliance, privacy, audit, security, information governance or records management concerns.
  • Preferred: experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, hybrid or waterfall delivery and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Preferred: experience using Excel, Power BI or similar tools for analysis, reporting, KPI tracking or decision support.
