Distribution Project Manager

Description

The company works in science with solutions for hard problems such as environmental protection, food safety and cancer research.

This role manages a portfolio of moderate to strategic client projects and owns delivery from first discussions through completion, covering both technical and service work.

You act as the main link between customers and internal stakeholders, and you have room to shape client strategy, improve processes and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Independently run a portfolio of moderate to strategic client projects.
• Own end-to-end delivery of the technical and service elements of each project.
• Design practical solutions that give customers the best result.
• Serve as the primary contact between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Keep project execution consistent from first conversations to close.
• Help shape client strategy and improve how work gets done.
• Support and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Either an advanced degree with 3 years of experience or a bachelor's degree with 5 years, both in project management or client-facing work.
• Strong knowledge of project management methods, tools and good practice.
• Advanced skill in budget control, forecasting and financial tracking.
• A record of running complex projects with many stakeholders on your own.
• Clear written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work with people at every level.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of putting effective fixes in place.
• Hands-on use of Salesforce, ERP, MS Office and project management software.
• Experience with GMP/GxP rules and quality management systems.
• A proven ability to build and keep strategic client relationships.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• The ability to guide team members and lead projects.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative matrix structure.
• Preferred: a degree in life sciences, engineering or a health-related field.
• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent.
• Preferred: experience in clinical trials, pharmaceutical or biotech.
• Beneficial: foreign language skills.
• May require travel of up to 25%.

Conditions

Standard Monday to Friday schedule.

Based in an office.

Travel of up to 25% may be required.
