Description

The company is one of Europe's leading betting and gaming operators, with a broad portfolio of well-known brands and a strong technology reputation.

It employs more than 5,000 people and operates in about fifteen regulated markets, offering games both under exclusive rights and in open competition.

The group aims to show that entertainment and player safety can coexist.

This role coordinates IT service continuity, disaster recovery and operational resilience across the group.

You will work with technology teams, business stakeholders, Risk, Crisis Management and third-party providers to confirm continuity requirements, put plans in place, complete recovery tests and close gaps.

The job is delivery-led: you bring people together, clarify tasks, track progress and help teams resolve blockers and complete agreed actions. You work within the group's continuity policy and framework, keep operational documentation current and suggest improvements based on what delivery shows.

You do not need deep technical expertise in every area, but you should be comfortable with technical teams, understanding their needs and dependencies, and keeping the right work moving.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IT service continuity and disaster recovery work across technology teams.
  • Work with teams to pinpoint critical services, systems, dependencies and recovery needs.
  • Make sure recovery plans exist, stay current and are understood by the teams that rely on them.
  • Organise disaster recovery tests, recovery exercises and failover activities.
  • Gather lessons from tests and incidents and push for the changes they point to.
  • Act as the central point of contact for continuity and resilience work.
  • Bring technical and business stakeholders together to agree priorities, owners and next steps.
  • Run meetings and workshops that keep activities moving.
  • Track plans, dependencies, risks, blockers and actions.
  • Escalate significant issues and give management clear progress updates.
  • Produce regular status reports for management and governance forums covering progress, key risks, blockers and open actions.
  • Make sure continuity and resilience work follows the group's policies, standards, frameworks and requirements.
  • Maintain continuity plans, procedures and supporting documents.
  • Spot gaps in processes, policies or frameworks, then agree and deliver fixes with the stakeholders involved.
  • Update documentation and processes when business needs, technology, systems or requirements change.
  • Maintain the register that links critical business activities to supporting applications, infrastructure and RTO/RPO targets.
  • Gather updates from IT and business teams to keep that register accurate.
  • Refresh the register and related recovery information after organisational, business or architectural changes.
  • Understand the continuity arrangements of critical third-party services with the relevant teams.
  • Find where supplier commitments fall short of internal recovery requirements.
  • Drive follow-up actions with supplier owners, Procurement and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8, 12+ years of experience in IT governance, IT resilience, IT risk or service management.
  • Proven experience setting up or running IT continuity frameworks.
  • Experience with ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ITIL or comparable frameworks.
  • Track record leading cross-functional governance initiatives.
  • Working in regulated environments is strongly preferred.
  • A degree in IT, engineering, risk or a related field (preferred).
  • ITIL certification (preferred).
  • ISO 22301 or ISO 27001 certification (preferred).
  • Resilience or risk management certifications are advantageous.

Conditions

The group welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and judges candidates on skills, experience and potential, regardless of age, gender, origin, religion, sexual orientation, neurodiversity or disability.
