Junior Project Manager (m/w/d) - Data Centres

Description

The team in Frankfurt is looking for a junior project manager to help lead construction projects for data centres, keeping them on schedule, within budget and to high quality standards.

You will support senior project managers through the planning, delivery and closing of data centre construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Help draft project schedules, budgets and resource allocation plans.
• Track project progress and report on key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with cross-functional groups, including engineers, contractors and suppliers.
• Spot and reduce risks and issues that could hurt the project.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, such as status reports and meeting minutes.
• Take part in site visits and inspections to check that the work follows the project specifications.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of project management processes.
• Assist with managing project changes and scope adjustments.
• Help build and maintain project management tools and templates.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in project management or a related area.
• Good knowledge of project management methods and best practice.
• Basic understanding of data centre design, construction and IT infrastructure concepts.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite, especially Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to work on construction sites.
• Fluent English.
• Ein Plus: German language skills.
• Von Vorteil: project management certifications such as CAPM or Prince2 Foundation.
• Ein Plus: experience in construction or IT infrastructure projects.
