Director of Product Management

Description

It runs 15 vehicle lifting, collision repair, wheel service, diagnostics and automotive brands, with operations worldwide, regional business operation centers, and large manufacturing sites in the US, Europe and Asia.

This role sits in the team that finds, assesses and negotiates new sales and marketing growth paths. Work may focus on one or more of pricing and commercial strategy, sales channel strategy (such as alliance partnerships, franchising and e-commerce), or new product development.

The role is a Professional 5, a recognized expert in the discipline, usually built through advanced education and years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop revenue models, sales and distribution channels, pricing, and new product strategies.
• Find and negotiate strategic partnerships, covering financial terms, customer sharing and intellectual property rights.
• Rank new product development investments and track their progress.
• In some organizations, manage projects that bring new business ideas or acquisitions into the company.
• Set operational plans for your area.
• Build and roll out new products, processes, standards or operational plans that drive functional results.
• Work directly with leadership.

Requirements

• Advanced education and substantial work experience in your discipline.
• Recognized expertise in business development, pricing, channel strategy or new product development.
