Description

The company is an embedded semiconductor provider with more than 21,000 engineers and problem solvers in over 30 countries, serving automotive, industrial, infrastructure and IoT markets.

The High-Performance AI and Compute (HPAC) product line sits within the Performance Computing Power division and builds high-performance digital multiphase voltage regulators for AI, cloud infrastructure, data centers, servers, networking and emerging computing markets.

This is a newly created director role. The company wants a seasoned strategic leader to build and grow a product management function for HPAC.

The company's TAGIE culture stands for Transparent, Agile, Global, Innovative and Entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, develop and keep product managers at mixed experience levels, and set hiring criteria and interview steps that fit the organization's needs.
  • Set each product manager's role, duties and success measures, make ownership of products and results clear, and hold the team to its commitments.
  • Build a collaborative, innovative, high-performing team that shares knowledge widely, moves with urgency and takes ownership, and models a customer-first approach.
  • Own the HPAC product strategy, portfolio vision and roadmap, and communicate them, keeping them aligned with market demand, trends and business goals.
  • Track cloud infrastructure and compute technology trends, find new segments, applications and growth areas, and recommend portfolio expansion.
  • Guide the team in writing market requirement documents, business cases and competitive analyses for new product concepts, and make sure priorities and resources fit the strategy.
  • Watch the health of the new product pipeline, and set and track KPIs covering portfolio health, market traction, development progress and revenue potential.
  • Set and manage pricing, cost structures and margin targets for assigned products, and improve portfolio profitability.
  • Create product management processes, standards and best practices that support mass-market operations and company growth.
  • Build templates, processes and decision frameworks for launches, go-to-market planning, pricing and customer engagement.
  • Create processes, methods and training that help product managers work faster and better at scale.
  • Keep engineering, marketing and sales fully aligned, with clear communication, handoffs and governance.
  • Regularly review and improve processes using team feedback and market results, and promote data-driven decisions across the organization.
  • Lead the creation of strong product documentation, including customer presentations, training material, errata, application notes and sales collateral.
  • Present strategy, portfolio health, market opportunities and financial projections to senior leadership, and keep executives aligned with HPAC plans.
  • Work well with distributed teams across several global offices, and build collaboration and alignment across cultures.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product management, product marketing or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience managing and launching products in data center, server, telecom, networking or computing markets.
  • Understanding of power management applications and products.
  • A record of driving revenue growth and market adoption.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analysis, problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: you can influence across teams, regions and cultures, drive process change with a personable approach, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience leading change that produced measurable improvements.
  • A high-energy, self-motivated, results-driven ownership mindset.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field. An MS or MBA is a plus.

Conditions

The company pays a competitive salary and details of the broader package are shared during the hiring process.
