Description

The company is an applied AI lab building next-generation AI agents for cybersecurity. Attackers now use AI to work faster and at larger scale, so the company's AI Taskforce analyses petabytes of enterprise data to fix weaknesses before serious breaches happen.

The company pairs frontier research with hands-on delivery. Cogent Research, its applied AI lab, runs alongside the core product work and supplies the research needed for agentic security workflows.

Growth has been rapid since the company left stealth. It works with Fortune 500 companies to protect some of the most complex production environments in the world. Greylock backs it.

The team includes people from Stanford, Berkeley, Penn, Duke, Carnegie Mellon, Waterloo, Scale AI, Databricks, Stripe, Tesla, Coinbase, Wiz, Abnormal AI, Zscaler, DeepMind and SAIL.

The company is building its marketing team from scratch and wants people who are smart, quick and strong, who care about the mission and bring a creative approach that stands apart from typical B2B marketing.

As the founding content leader, you will set the company's voice: its editorial point of view, the executive and founder voice, and the research and stories it publishes. You will turn product insight, original research and customer results into content that spreads and drives pipeline.

This is a hands-on role. Production relies on AI, contractors and a small team, so you will set the editorial bar, coordinate the output and still write the pieces that matter most. A separate Director of Communications handles press and analyst relations. You create material worth covering, and they pitch it.

Responsibilities

  • Own the content engine end to end: the calendar and long-running series such as weekly VM insights, AI security myths and remediation playbooks, across LinkedIn-first social, blog, video and long-form.
  • Own SEO and AEO, so buyers and the AI models that increasingly shape discovery can find the work.
  • Connect content to pipeline. Track which pieces win deals and produce more of them.
  • Write top- and middle-of-funnel blog posts, ebooks and whitepapers that draw practitioners in and nudge buyers toward a decision.
  • Run the social strategy, combining recurring series with one-off posts that keep the company's point of view visible to practitioners.
  • Ghostwrite for the CEO, CTO and technical leaders in a consistent voice that reflects their own views.
  • Build repeatable ways to gather raw material from leader interviews, Slack, call notes and research briefs.
  • Turn that material into thought leadership that security practitioners read and share.
  • Convert Cogent Research, threat findings and product insight into original analysis that spreads and generates pipeline.
  • Own the flagship research report and its surrounding programs, working with the research team and the CTO.
  • Respond quickly to security news by publishing a point-of-view piece while the story is still current.
  • Use AI throughout the workflow, and coordinate contractors and tools so a small team produces like a much larger one without losing accuracy or voice.
  • Build systems that speed up the whole engine, including a living archive of positioning, proof and research that the whole company can use.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years in content roles at B2B tech companies, with cybersecurity experience strongly preferred.
  • A record of content that produced measurable results: pipeline sourced by content, organic traffic and rankings, and engagement that led to meetings.
  • Experience at a small company where you drove the content program yourself, shipping weekly without a large team, a large budget or someone else's strategy.
  • Excellent writing and editorial judgment. You can develop a point of view and explain complex security topics clearly and credibly.
  • A proven record of ghostwriting for executives, with a method for capturing how they speak.
  • Comfortable using AI in day-to-day work. You can describe a content workflow you built, where it failed and what you changed.
  • Nice-to-have: experience producing research content such as threat reports, benchmarks or original analysis that drew attention.
  • Nice-to-have: experience running SEO through agencies or contractors, and a considered view on AEO.
  • Nice-to-have: production skills beyond writing, such as short video, explainers and visual assets, or the ability to direct contractors who make them.
  • Nice-to-have: familiarity with vulnerability management, exposure management, or AppSec or CloudSec.
