Description

Based in San Francisco, CA, this hybrid role requires 2 days per week in the office.

The company has served millions of diners and more than 70,000 restaurant partners for over 25 years. It is part of a publicly listed group on NASDAQ. Its technology helps restaurants manage their teams, guests, and finances, and helps diners find and book tables.

The team is part of a global group that includes a portfolio of metasearch brands.

You will lead the growth function that helps restaurants find, adopt, and expand their use of the company's products. The role covers self-serve and sales-assisted paths and is accountable for pipeline, conversion, and revenue across Independent and Enterprise restaurants. You will manage a team of 8 within the core growth function. The role suits a leader who can set strategy, make hard investment trade-offs, and develop a strong team.

Responsibilities

  • Define the B2B growth strategy and operating plan for Independent and Enterprise restaurants, turning company goals into priorities, targets, and investment choices.
  • Own performance across the full funnel, for both self-serve and sales-assisted paths, from acquisition and activation through opportunity creation, conversion, retention, expansion, and revenue.
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of 8, setting clear ownership and high standards.
  • Build one connected growth system across the customer journey, directing SEO, lifecycle, paid marketing, web, and marketing operations as linked parts rather than separate channels.
  • Create a performance framework the business trusts, working with Sales, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance to improve measurement, customer progression, pipeline quality, and conversion.
  • Set budgets, prioritize experiments, and apply data, automation, and AI with judgment to raise growth efficiency and decide when to scale, change, or stop.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in B2B growth, demand generation, performance marketing, revenue marketing, or a related field, with proven ownership of pipeline, conversion, and revenue results.
  • 3+ years leading a growth or performance marketing team, including developing managers or leading a sizeable team.
  • Hands-on experience designing or scaling both self-serve and sales-assisted growth models.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills across CRM, marketing automation, attribution, reporting, experimentation, and data quality. You can dig into data, understand the systems behind it, and act on what you find.
  • Sound commercial judgment and cross-functional leadership, linking marketing spend to customer value, efficiency, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Preferred: experience in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, technology, hospitality, or another complex, multi-segment business.
  • Preferred: a track record of building or improving a growth engine across acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion.
  • Preferred: experience using unit economics such as CAC, LTV, payback period, or contribution margin to guide investment.
  • Preferred: experience building a disciplined experimentation culture and applying AI or automation to marketing operations and decisions.
  • Preferred: experience leading distributed or global teams and influencing senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance.
