DevOps Engineer

Description

You will join the Managed Services team as a DevOps Engineer, delivering, maintaining and improving the cloud-based solutions and technical environments behind the company's hosted data quality services.

The role blends DevOps engineering, automation, platform enhancement and site reliability engineering (SRE) to keep services scalable, resilient, secure and highly available, with reliability driven by proactive monitoring, infrastructure upgrades, performance tuning and continuous delivery.

You will report to the Manager, Product Support and Managed Service.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and launch new cloud solutions and platform features on AWS using current DevOps methods.
• Improve existing environments, services and deployment processes for better scalability, performance, security and reliability.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines so releases are secure, reliable and frequent.
• Lead automation work that removes manual effort, makes results more consistent and speeds up delivery.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging and observability so service degradation is caught and handled early.
• Lead the investigation and fix of complex production incidents, infrastructure failures and performance problems.
• Take part in post-incident reviews and improvement work that makes the platform more resilient and cuts operational risk.
• Work with Engineering, Product, Security and Support to design resilient architectures and deliver strong customer solutions.
• Apply security and compliance practices across AWS environments in line with company standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing, implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure, automation and DevOps platforms in enterprise environments.
• Proven record of taking complex technical solutions from concept through deployment and into operational support.
