DevOps Cloud Engineer

Its teams cover tech strategy, business innovation, digital solutions and applications, and device and systems engineering, often in regulated sectors such as health and finance.

Managed Services runs business-critical applications for clients in Switzerland, Germany, the UK and APAC. You join the operations team and take technical ownership of the platforms behind 2 live programmes for a leading insurance group.

Responsibilities

• Keep production platforms reliable through monitoring, incident response, problem management and root-cause analysis.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code across both platforms, covering releases, environments and rollbacks.
• Push changes through a controlled change process aligned with ITIL and ISO 20000 in a regulated insurance setting.
• Keep security baselines current: secrets, certificates, access policies and vulnerability patching.
• Build and refine dashboards, alerts and log analysis so issues are caught before the client notices them.
• Collaborate with the client's engineering and security teams and with the Swiss-based Service Managers.
• Apply and expand AI-assisted operations tools for automated triage, log analysis and runbook automation.

Requirements

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE or platform operations, including at least 2 production systems running under SLA.
• Hands-on depth with [Azure / AWS], containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with [Terraform / Bicep] for Infrastructure as Code and [Azure DevOps / GitLab / GitHub Actions] for CI/CD.
• Good understanding of IAM concepts: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML and directory services. Hands-on experience with [Entra ID / Keycloak / ForgeRock / Ping / SailPoint] is a strong plus.
• Observability tooling such as [Grafana / Prometheus / ELK / Dynatrace / Azure Monitor].
• Scripting in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Fluent English, written and spoken. [German is a plus]
• A calm, structured approach to incident handling and change control in regulated environments.
• ServiceNow or Jira Service Management experience.
• Practical daily use of AI tools in engineering.
• Financial services or insurance experience.
