Description

The company makes materials science and engineering equipment that goes into nearly every new semiconductor chip and advanced display made worldwide.

The equipment the team builds and services supports AI and the commercialization of next-generation chips, so the work sits at the base of the electronics industry.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, software, and process problems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and upgrades on advanced systems, including electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.

  • Help customers get the most performance, productivity, and uptime from their tools.
  • Work on equipment used to make chips for AI, cloud computing, electric vehicles, medical devices, and consumer electronics.
  • Expect a different day every time, with no two days alike.

Requirements

  • Hold an Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or a trade certification.

  • Hold a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a passport if travel is required.
  • Meet all on-site requirements, including safety, environmental guidelines, and COVID-19 protocols.
  • Backgrounds the team welcomes include semiconductor equipment, field service engineering, military electronics and nuclear programs, robotics and automation, aerospace and defense, manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, and technical support and service operations.
  • Enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, and hands-on work with complex equipment.
  • Work well in fast-paced, technology-driven settings and enjoy learning new technologies.
  • Be able to walk extensively, stand for long periods, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, climb stairs and ladders, and work at height.
  • Be able to lift up to 35 lbs, tell colors apart, work safely around electricity, and work in noisy environments.
