CSP Program Manager

Description

This is an Engineering role at job level TCP04. You will design, plan, build, and manage one product or a portfolio of products across its whole life, from initial definition and enhancements through planning, design, forecasting, and production to retirement.

At this level your work regularly affects the technical parts of products, solutions, or services. You are the subject matter expert, you partner with functional and technical teams, and you may join cross-functional initiatives. You make significant independent decisions about how to reach goals and may lead and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy and the operational roadmap for one or more products.
• Define the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case for one or more new, disruptive products, weighed against the full company portfolio, including product configuration mix, revenue and margins, financials, and market share.
• Turn market requirements (MRD) into customer and marketing detail, drawing on close customer knowledge and business, financial, and industry insight.
• Advise key stakeholders on portfolio strategy at every lifecycle stage, including planning, development, launch, management, and exit.
• Align goals across the value chain for one or more products, working with engineering on product development, supply chain on SKUs and inventory, and marketing on pricing and the go-to-market plan, to protect margins and deliver on plan through the lifecycle.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of work experience in a related field.
• Technical understanding of the relevant industry.
• Expert ability to lead cross-functional work through influence and to mentor and lead teams to deliver results on complex, ambiguous projects.
• Expert skill in building cost-efficient solutions and in creating and analyzing financial performance metrics.
• Expert business acumen, with skill in root cause analysis and problem detection.
• Ability to give product-specific technical training to the team.
• Preferred: an MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering.

Conditions

This role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office.

Annual base salary ranges: United States of America: Colorado $132,500 to $252,500; Massachusetts $143,000 to $273,000; California $143,000 to $290,500; North Carolina and Texas $126,500 to $290,500.

The actual offer may fall outside these ranges depending on location, work experience, education or training, and skill level.

Variable incentives may also be offered on top of base salary.
