Description

The company builds AI and ML platforms that sit at the centre of its real-time information strategy, working at the point where generative AI research meets enterprise-scale systems.

The team is a mix of makers, breakers, doers and disruptors who solve real problems and meet real customer needs, in a fast-paced, collaborative and iterative delivery setting.

This Senior Director role is for a Technical Program Manager who enjoys driving complex technical initiatives and combining AI and ML with business strategy, helping take major technical transformations and scale AI and ML capabilities across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Cover the full AI and ML lifecycle, including agentic AI architectures, multi-agent conversational systems, LLM inference, and ML model training, fine-tuning and monitoring.
  • Set the end-to-end strategic roadmap for enterprise AI and ML platforms, so they are modern, scalable and aligned with business growth.
  • Write executive updates on delivery status, program risk and long-term architecture decisions that keep the enterprise technology aligned.
  • Influence investment priorities so platform decisions favour long-term agility, resilience and cost efficiency.
  • Create and scale TPM best practices, governance frameworks and OKR-based performance models that other domains adopt.
  • Mentor and develop TPM leaders, building a high-performance culture focused on technical excellence and delivery accountability.
  • Grow the company's TPM discipline by sharing your industry knowledge and showing the organisation what strong TPM work can achieve.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs.
  • Preferred: 9+ years building distributed systems and highly available services on cloud computing, preferably including AWS.
  • Preferred: 3+ years working with the AI/ML development lifecycle in a business-critical setting.
  • Preferred: 5+ years building and leading engineering or TPM teams, or influencing multiple organisations as an individual contributor.
  • Preferred: experience building systems and solutions in a highly regulated environment.
  • Preferred: a master's degree in a related technical field such as computer science or software engineering.
  • Preferred: the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to varied audiences.
  • Preferred: industry impact through conference talks, papers, blog posts, open source contributions or patents.
  • The company will not sponsor new applicants for employment authorization or offer immigration support for this role, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-3 and O-1, or any other work authorization that requires employer immigration support.
