Description

Weave (YC W25) is building the definitive platform for understanding and improving how engineering teams work. We believe the way engineering output is measured today is fundamentally broken and that modern AI can give teams a far more accurate and actionable view of productivity, impact and collaboration.

Trusted by 200+ customers such as Robinhood, Rho, PostHog and Browserbase, we’ve delivered consistent double-digit month-over-month revenue growth since May and are looking to accelerate our growth.

We’ve raised a $13.5 million Series A and are backed by Standard Capital, Y Combinator, Moonfire, Burst Capital, IrregEx and the Agent Fund.

As Weave’s Creative Marketing Lead, you’ll do the things other B2B companies are too scared to do.

What we’re building

Weave is rethinking engineering output from first principles.

We use AI to:

Understand how engineers actually work (not just what they ship)

Surface meaningful insights about productivity, quality, collaboration and impact

Help teams improve outcomes without vanity metrics or surveillance

Today that means three products: Engineering Intelligence, Weave Router and Token Intelligence.

The team you’ll work with

You’ll work directly with:

Adam (CEO): leads sales and customer discovery. Adam is a former sales executive at multiple high-growth startups who has scaled multiple sales teams from $0 to $30M in ARR, and he stays deeply embedded with customers.

Andrew (CTO): previously a founding engineer at Causal, MIT alum. Andrew is deeply committed to mentorship and ownership for everyone on the team.

Brennan (GTM): your partner on turning every stunt into pipeline.

This is a small, intense, highly collaborative team. You will have real ownership from day one.

Responsibilities

  • This isn’t a traditional marketing role. The closest thing we can describe it as is a mashup of event producer, creative director, street marketer and video editor.
  • Run through the city in a costume. Send someone out of a plane. Charter one. Build a 10-foot jar of gold tokens and roll it into a conference. Make a CTO stop scrolling and say “wait, who did that?”
  • That’s the job. You own Weave’s stunts. Idea, permits, production, footage, distribution. Every one should get talked about.
  • How we'll measure you
  • Reach. Views and impressions per stunt, organic first.
  • Talk. Press pickups, reposts from people who matter, inbound "who did that?" DMs.
  • Pipeline. Demos booked and qualified opportunities traced back to each stunt.
  • Cadence. One big stunt a month, shipped on time and on budget.
  • Own the viral calendar. One big stunt a week.
  • Run each stunt end to end. Concept, budget, vendors, permits, insurance, talent and day-of logistics. If it needs a pilot, a fabricator or a city permit, you find them.
  • Be on camera when it helps. Wear the suit. Hold the sign.
  • Capture everything. Plan the shot list before the stunt. Shoot, edit and ship cuts for X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok within 24 hours.
  • Engineer the reach. Seed it with creators, press and our customers. A stunt nobody sees didn’t happen.
  • Own Wooly. Make our mascot a character people recognize and follow.
  • Build event moments. Booth props, guerrilla activations and dinner experiences that make Weave the thing people talk about at every conference.
  • The kind of thing you’ll run
  • Some of these are real. Some are yours to beat.
  • Own the viral calendar. One big stunt a week.
  • Wooly takes over SF. Our mascot shows up everywhere engineers are. What it takes: costume, route, street team, a camera that never stops.
  • The 10-foot token jar. AI spend, made physical. What it takes: fabricator, freight, a booth that can hold it.
  • Skydive with a message. A message delivered from 13,000 feet. What it takes: dropzone, waivers, GoPros, a sign that survives the fall.
  • The plane. A banner over a conference nobody can ignore. What it takes: charter, FAA rules, timing to the minute.
  • Your idea. Bigger than all of the above. What it takes: a one-page pitch and a budget.

Requirements

  • You've done something that made strangers ask "who did that?" You have the link to prove it.
  • You've produced activations, or campaigns that went viral. Show us the numbers.
  • You get things done in the real world. Vendors, permits, and logistics don't scare you.
  • You can shoot and edit. You know what makes a clip travel on X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • You have no fear of looking ridiculous. Taste keeps it from being cringe.
  • You turn a wild idea into a plan, a budget, and a date.
  • You want to be in the office in SF, 5 days a week.
  • Nice-to-haves
  • Background in experiential, event production, comedy, improv, film, or street marketing
  • Agency or creator experience with a portfolio of things people remember
  • An audience of your own that you grew
  • Interest in developer tools, AI, or engineers as an audience
  • Early-stage startup experience
