Based in Spain, this role leads growth marketing and MarTech for the new Global Marketing Strategy & Planning team at the company.
The company is building this function to advance its marketing model. The global team will create shared capabilities, operating standards and decision tools that help markets act faster, learn from each other and get more return from current marketing spend. Local markets keep ownership of execution, while the global team builds, tests, measures and scales what creates leverage across the group's businesses.
The aim is to move the company from mostly paid, cost-per-acquisition growth toward diversified, lifecycle-driven growth focused on long-term customer value. You will combine growth marketing, MarTech product thinking and disciplined experimentation to set global standards, rank high-impact use cases and turn market learning into capabilities other countries can reuse.
Responsibilities
Create a phased growth marketing capability roadmap by finding gaps in priority markets across acquisition, CRM and lifecycle, digital channels, conversion, MarTech, personalization and experimentation, ranked by value and market readiness.
Define priority marketing use cases and business requirements for customer interaction platforms, audience and data tools, automation, personalization and AI-driven decisioning, and work with Technology, Product and Data to deliver them.
Write reusable standards for full-funnel acquisition, audiences, value-based optimization, paid and owned channels, web and app conversion, and CRM and lifecycle activation.
Set one shared method for hypotheses, prioritization, test design, learning and scale-or-stop decisions, backed by a transparent experiment backlog that covers all markets.
Help markets use first-party data, audiences, triggers and customer signals to move from campaign messaging to personalized engagement optimized for customer value.
Build practical use cases for AI decisioning, personalization, automation, LLM and GEO discoverability, creator and influencer acquisition, and content-led growth, working with Brand on content and creative ownership.
Run lighthouse pilots with priority markets, then turn proven approaches into playbooks, templates, requirements and implementation guides that other markets can adopt quickly.
Translate commercial opportunities into technology and data requirements, help rank the marketing backlog, and flag integration, tracking, privacy or infrastructure gaps.
Set global and local decision rights, standards, training and communities of practice that build local team capability without duplicating specialist structures.
Do the hands-on work yourself, including diagnostics, playbooks, experiment charters, use-case maps, channel reviews, requirements and executive recommendations. This is not a coordination-only role.
Requirements
Have 8+ years in growth marketing, digital acquisition, performance marketing, MarTech, CRM and lifecycle, conversion optimization or closely related areas.
Have a record of building and scaling marketing capabilities, standards or playbooks across several teams, markets or business units.
Bring hands-on work in digital acquisition, owned-channel optimization, audience strategy, conversion journeys and performance economics.
Have turned marketing opportunities into MarTech, data or product requirements and driven their build or adoption with Technology and Data partners.
Strong command of growth economics, acquisition, conversion, audience activation and lifecycle marketing.
Solid MarTech fluency across customer and audience data, orchestration, personalization, automation, testing, digital analytics and activation architecture.
Strong experimentation discipline: forming hypotheses, prioritizing, designing tests, measuring rigorously and deciding under uncertainty.
Working knowledge of first-party data, customer and event data flows, identity and audience logic, APIs and integrations, tagging, and app and web measurement.
Able to turn marketing needs into clear technical requirements, ranked backlogs and adoption plans, without being a software engineer.
Able to separate platform-reported results from true incremental impact, and work well with Data and Measurement specialists.
Strong executive communication, sound judgment on global versus local trade-offs, and curiosity about AI, LLM and GEO, content, and creator and influencer ecosystems.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data or Analytics, or a related field. Relevant postgraduate study or certifications are valued but not required.
Fluent professional English is required.
Ideally, experience designing and running experiments, including A/B, geo, lift, incrementality or other causal approaches.
Experience with customer interaction platforms, CDP or audience capabilities, marketing automation, CRM or lifecycle, or personalization is strongly valued, as is multi-market or regulated-sector experience.
