This role is accountable for upholding content integrity and as such owns the local implementation of metadata /taxonomy standards, is responsible for tagging accuracy, seamless asset transfer, and building well-structured content libraries that enable GenAI-driven content creation and content reuse across the European region. This role ensures adherence to BMS metadata standards, supports BMS claims management, drives BMS content quality and compliance practices, promotes best-in-class approaches for efficient, searchable content management, and oversees content production workflows to deliver timely, compliant, and high-quality assets across channels.

  • Drive and implement initiatives that optimize content processes, enhance analytics, and improve operational efficiency (e.g. updated taxonomy implementation)
  • Manage and deliver end-to-end content production workflows, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality asset delivery across channels
  • Metadata, Taxonomy & Searchability:
  • Partner with the US Content Team to locally uphold standards and continuously improve metadata and taxonomy frameworks to maximize discoverability and reuse across SAMai and marketing content DAM systems.
  • Ensure tagging accuracy and metadata integrity to enable enterprise searchability and insights on most recent approved content.
  • Workflow Orchestration & Vendor/Agency Enablement:
  • Execute seamless asset transfer across systems/stakeholders; monitor and resolve production bottlenecks to maintain speed-to-market.
  • Coordinate with Agencies of Record (AORs), CASA, and Mosaic to uphold content integrity and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Content Governance Expertise: Deep understanding of metadata standards, tagging protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to partner effectively with brand teams, agencies, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Digital Asset Management (DAM) Proficiency: Skilled in organizing and maintaining enterprise content libraries for scalability and reuse.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong capability to interpret data and leverage insights for process optimization.
  • Innovation & Adaptability: Comfortable driving GenAI-enabled strategies and evolving content ecosystems.
  • Operational Excellence: Focused on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in content workflows.
  • Expertise in managing production timelines, vendor coordination, and multi-channel content delivery.
  • Familiarity with production tools and platforms for workflow management and version control.
  • Ability to oversee localization and adaptation processes for global markets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address production bottlenecks and ensure speed-to-market.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 7+ years in content strategy, digital asset management, or marketing operations within a regulated industry (pharma experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise content ecosystems and implementing metadata standards.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with DAM platforms (e.g., AEM, Veeva Vault PromoMats) and content governance tools.
  • Solid understanding of AI-driven content generation and related technologies.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive process improvements.
  • Based on your function, department or individual position, you will have the opportunity to discuss with your Manager the option to work remotely up to 50% of the time, over a two-week period, with the flexibility to choose the days that align with your collaboration needs.
