Description

The company builds advertising technology that helps businesses of any size reach, monetize and grow audiences worldwide, with end-to-end ad solutions.

The team is global, and its members' backgrounds and experience reflect the developers and customers it serves.

The platform is one of the largest growth channels open to consumer brands, yet many have not tried it or do not see how it could change their business. This role closes that gap with content that brings new consumer advertisers onto the platform and prepares them to do well once they launch.

Responsibilities

  • Run the advertiser content program from start to finish: plan the calendar, write the pieces, choose distribution, publish, measure results and refine.
  • Find the topics, formats and channels most likely to get consumer advertisers to launch on the platform.
  • Anticipate the common reasons advertisers struggle after launch, and produce playbooks, tutorials and guides that prevent them.
  • Plan seasonal campaigns for key advertiser periods such as BFCM and Q1, working ahead of demand.
  • Track what performs, drop what does not, and focus on content that leads advertisers to launch and scale.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writer who turns complex advertising subjects into clear, compelling, polished content without copyeditor support.
  • Fast mover who prefers publishing and iterating over waiting for perfection.
  • Self-directed: no existing playbook is handed to you, so you build the strategy and calendar yourself and carry them out.
  • At least 3 years writing content for performance marketing or adtech readers, with published work you can show.
  • Working familiarity with PostHog, Superset, Trino or other big data platforms.
  • Ideally, you query large datasets yourself to answer your own questions rather than waiting for someone to pull a report.
  • Experience scripting or producing video.
  • Background in ad platforms, with experience marketing to advertisers and not only to consumers.

Conditions

Base pay range for the New York location is $170,100 to $243,000 USD.

Total compensation is competitive and pay-for-performance, and depends on market location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Equity and other incentive pay may be included depending on the position.

The application window is expected to close within 30 days of the posting date.

Hiring may use technology-assisted tools, including AI, to help identify and evaluate candidates, but human reviewers make all final decisions.

Applicants are considered without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status, or other legally protected characteristics.

  • Equity eligibility.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Unlimited discretionary time off.
  • 10 paid holidays per year.
  • 80 hours of paid sick leave per year.
