Description

The company builds advertising technology that helps businesses of any size reach their ideal customers, with end-to-end tools to reach, monetize and grow global audiences.

The team brings together people with varied backgrounds and viewpoints, reflecting the developers and customers it serves worldwide. The company looks for candidates who excel in their own work and actively support others.

Many consumer brands could gain a lot from the ad platform but have not tried it or do not yet see how it could change their business. In this role you create content that brings new consumer advertisers onto the platform and prepares them to succeed after launch.

Responsibilities

  • Run the advertiser content program from start to finish: plan the calendar, write, choose distribution channels, publish, measure results and refine.
  • Produce content that gets consumer advertisers to launch on the platform, choosing topics, formats and channels that will reach them.
  • Anticipate the common problems advertisers hit after launch and create playbooks, tutorials and guides that help them succeed.
  • Plan seasonal campaigns around key advertiser periods such as BFCM and Q1, looking ahead so content is ready early.
  • Track which content performs, drop what does not, and aim for pieces that lead to advertisers launching and scaling.

Requirements

  • Write exceptionally well, turning complex advertising subjects into clear, compelling, polished content without a copyeditor.
  • Move quickly and prefer shipping and improving over waiting for perfection.
  • Work independently: there is no existing content playbook, so you build your own plan and start without direction.
  • Have 3+ years of experience writing content for a performance marketing or adtech audience, with published work to show.
  • Be familiar with PostHog, Superset, Trino or other big data platforms. Ideally, you query large datasets yourself to get answers rather than waiting for reports.
  • Have video scripting or production experience.
  • Have an ad platform background, having marketed to advertisers and not only to consumers.

Conditions

Total compensation is designed to reward performance and depends on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Equity and other incentive pay may be offered depending on the role.

California base pay range: $170,100 to $243,000 USD.

Applications are expected to close within 30 days of the posting date.

Technology-assisted tools, including AI, may help review candidates, but people make all hiring decisions.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status, or other legally protected characteristics.

Benefits

  • Equity eligible.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Unlimited discretionary time off.
  • 10 paid holidays per year.
  • 80 hours of paid sick leave per year.
