Cloud Software Engineer Intern

Description

You will join experienced engineers as an intern, helping build software that runs on Linux and in the cloud while learning modern engineering practice.

The company builds solutions for automotive, aerospace and defense, energy, industrial, robotics and medical customers, as an international business.

Responsibilities

• Help design, build, test and maintain software applications and internal tools.
• Write and improve software components in C, Python, or both.
• Debug and test on Linux systems.
• Work with engineering teams to find the causes of technical problems and raise software quality.
• Help with cloud infrastructure and cloud-native projects where relevant.
• Take part in code reviews, team discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Write up your technical work and give regular project updates.

Requirements

• Be working toward a Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering or a related field.
• Have worked on software projects through coursework, personal work, research, internships or extracurricular activities.
• Know C, Python, or both.
• Be familiar with Linux operating systems.
• Bring solid problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Cloud infrastructure or cloud technology exposure: a plus, not required.
• Previous internship experience: preferred, not required.

Conditions

The pay range for this role is $4,000 to $5,000.

Pay is set through interviews and a review of your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location and abilities, as well as equity with other team members.
