You coordinate cross-functional teams that include business stakeholders, IT, system integrators and third-party partners, bringing transparency and predictability to the work and spotting and reducing risks early to support adoption, go-live and stabilization.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans that fit the integrated modernization program schedule, milestones and governance model.
  • Lead your assigned ERP projects or workstreams through the Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy and Hypercare phases.
  • Track daily tasks, milestones and issues, and resolve problems as they come up.
  • Manage project scope against approved designs and follow formal change control.
  • Identify, assess and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, escalating to the Modernization Program Manager with clear mitigation options.
  • Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies with peer Project Leads so delivery stays integrated.
  • Coordinate business, IT, system integrator and third-party resources to deliver on time and at high quality.
  • Help functional and technical teams work together effectively.
  • Work closely with Solution Architecture, Functional Leads and Organizational Change Management (OCM) to align delivery and adoption.
  • Prepare accurate status reports, forecasts and issue updates that meet program reporting standards.
  • Maintain the RAID log for your project area(s).
  • Make sure the program's governance, delivery methodology and quality standards are followed.
  • Support testing cycles, defect resolution, cutover planning and go-live readiness.
  • Make sure deliverables meet quality standards and win acceptance from business stakeholders.
  • Support knowledge transfer and handover to sustain and operations teams after go-live.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of project management experience on implementations or major modernization initiatives. ERP implementation experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing ERP projects or significant ERP workstreams across several implementation phases.
  • Solid knowledge of ERP implementation lifecycles and structured methods such as SAP Activate or an equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, scope, risks, issues and dependencies in complex environments.
  • Experience working with system integrators and coordinating internal and external delivery teams.
  • Clear communication with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project and reporting tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira or similar.
  • Strong organization, analysis and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
