Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer

The company is based in Madrid, Spain, and is a subsidiary of a larger group. Its IT team delivers services and solutions to the group's international business units.

The team is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer to help build digital products.

The team works in agile sprints and is digital-first.

Responsibilities

• Help DevOps teams adopt Azure through self-service platforms and standard solutions.
• Design and maintain Azure landing zones with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Build and promote reusable platform services and templates so cloud use can scale.
• Advise teams on Azure best practice across security, governance, networking and compliance.
• Act as the link between platform teams, DevOps teams and stakeholders.
• Drive platform standardization and InnerSource collaboration between teams.
• Support automation and CI/CD pipelines for cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Present, demonstrate and document platform capabilities and services.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repos and automation.
• Knowledge of Azure governance, networking and security best practices.
• Experience working in large-scale cloud environments.
• Familiarity with scripting, such as PowerShell, and CI/CD patterns.
• A customer-focused approach and an understanding of business needs.
• Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A growth mindset, curiosity about new technologies and an interest in innovating.
• Experience with Power BI, or a willingness to learn it.
• Your CV should be written in English.

The role follows a hybrid model.

Working hours are flexible, with two months of intensive hours in summer.
