Description

The company is hiring a leader for regional oncology marketing. You will work with national and regional external scientific experts (ESEs), turn customer insight into brand strategy, and run regional programs that follow the Brand Strategic Plan.

The Oncology teams work across functions and with external partners to improve cancer care. This role connects disease-area experts with regional strategy and gives you room to make a real difference using your marketing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and carry out regional marketing plans that fit the Brand Strategic Plan and the opportunities in each local market.
  • Maintain relationships with 35, 50 national and regional ESEs through in-person and virtual meetings, scientific discussions and congress work.
  • Collect useful insights from expert discussions, consultancies and advisory boards, then share them with Brand and Medical colleagues.
  • Work with field sales leaders and Brand teams on local campaigns and peer engagement for healthcare professionals.
  • Run advisory boards and regional projects with agency and vendor partners, and take promotional assets through MLR review.
  • Oversee program budgets, timelines and compliance, and write an annual operating plan that matches brand priorities.
  • Strengthen ties with national and regional experts to advance brand, disease, testing and treatment goals.
  • Use local insight to shape programs for accounts and organized customers, reduce barriers to product use and encourage appropriate adoption.
  • Give Brand and field leaders a non-sales view of expert opinion so they can act on regional opportunities.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree and have at least 8 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare work, including pharmaceutical marketing.
  • Understand oncology business well, including care delivery, payers, group purchasing organizations, precision medicine and organized oncology customers.
  • Communicate well with experts both personally and scientifically, ask hard questions, and build advocacy for the brand.
  • Spot regional marketing opportunities and manage complex projects with agency or vendor partners.
  • Have a track record of leading across Sales, Medical Affairs and Brand Marketing, and turning insight into strategic decisions.
  • Have experience with MLR review, operational planning and budget management.
  • Be willing to travel overnight for more than 50% of the time, including evening and weekend conferences when necessary.
  • Desirable: 10+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience and an MBA.
  • Desirable: 2+ years of oncology experience, including tumor-type and customer-facing work.
  • Desirable: experience with in-line brand or HCP agency marketing, including work with third-party vendors or agency partners.

Conditions

Annual base pay ranges from $194,000 to $291,000 and depends on factors such as market location, job knowledge, skills and experience.

Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees are paid overtime for qualifying hours.

The role is at-will, and the company may change base pay or any other discretionary pay or compensation program at any time, based on individual or team performance or market factors.

Date posted: 26-Oct-2026. Closing date: 13-Dec-2026.

The company welcomes applications from all qualified candidates, regardless of protected characteristics.

Benefits

  • A short-term incentive bonus opportunity.
  • Equity-based long-term incentive eligibility for salaried roles, a retirement contribution for hourly roles, and commission eligibility for sales roles.
  • A qualified 401(k) retirement plan, paid vacation and holidays, and paid leave.
  • Medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage under the terms of each plan. Full plan details are provided on receipt of an offer.
