AMR Pre-Sales Solution Engineer – French & Mandarin Speaking

The role supports the pre-sales work for warehouse automation projects, with a focus on AMR solutions.

Your mission sits at the front of the sales cycle, shaping solutions before a project is awarded and supporting delivery after.

Responsibilities

• Help run pre-sales work for warehouse automation projects: analyse customer requirements, carry out site surveys, review data, assess processes and design solutions.
• Talk with customers and internal colleagues to learn how their operations run, then help build suitable AMR and warehouse automation solutions.
• Create solution layouts, preliminary calculations, technical proposals, presentations and other documents for customer meetings and tenders.
• Join customer meetings and technical discussions, and explain solution concepts and project requirements where needed.
• Collect and analyse customer feedback, and work with Sales, R&D and Project Delivery to keep improving the proposed solutions.
• After a project is awarded, support detailed engineering, testing, commissioning and final acceptance.
• Work with teams in the local office and in China so that technical communication stays clear and projects run smoothly.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Robotics or a closely related technical field.
• Around 3 years of relevant experience in AGV/AMR, intralogistics, warehouse automation, system integration or a similar technical area. Candidates at other experience levels are also considered.
• A solid grasp of warehouse operations, material flow and automation concepts, enough to help with requirement analysis and solution design.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with simulation tools such as FlexSim is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication and presentation ability.
• Comfortable working with customers and cross-functional teams in an international setting.
• Fluent French and Mandarin, with good working English.
