Description

You will join the ecommerce product organization, which builds shopping experiences for millions of people worldwide.

On the Cart & Checkout team you will help shape the company's global checkout, guiding shoppers from first discovery through to a finished purchase.

You will work with design, engineering, and business partners to remove friction and strengthen customer trust. The group makes decisions from data and values teamwork across functions in building intuitive, scalable products.

Responsibilities

  • As a Staff Product Manager, you will set strategy and drive delivery for complex products, owning outcomes from first discovery to measured value after launch.
  • Share ownership of the vision, roadmap, and delivery for checkout experiences and platform capabilities across the company's ecommerce business.
  • Take new products from zero to one: spot opportunities, define strategy, then oversee the build, launch, and improvements after release.
  • Keep engineering, design, analytics, data science, and business partners aligned on customer needs, business goals, and milestones.
  • Use customer research, analytics, experiments, and market studies to shape strategy and decide where roadmap investment goes.
  • Find ways to simplify checkout, lower the effort customers spend, and lift conversion through data-led product changes.
  • Persuade senior leaders by laying out tradeoffs, setting KPIs, and backing initiatives with measurable customer and business impact.
  • Act as a subject matter expert: influence product direction, coach fellow product managers, and tie your work to wider business objectives.
  • Own multi-quarter product vision and roadmaps, backed by deep customer and technical understanding and strong stakeholder leadership.

Requirements

  • Either a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related area plus 7 years of product management experience, or 9 years of product management or a related area.
  • Customer obsession: you start with the customer, work backwards, and build intuitive experiences that remove friction and build confidence.
  • Platform thinking: you build scalable, reliable, reusable capabilities that power experiences across markets and platforms.
  • Data-driven decision making: you use customer insights, analytics, and experiments to prioritize opportunities and drive outcomes.
  • Creativity and innovation: you simplify complex problems and build elegant solutions that create customer and business value.
  • Collaboration and influence: you build strong partnerships, align stakeholders, and deliver results in fast-moving, ambiguous settings.
  • Preferred: a master's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related area, plus 6 years as a product manager, ideally on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B or B2C products.
  • Preferred: experience creating inclusive digital experiences, knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and assistive technologies, and skill in building digital accessibility into products as a matter of course.
  • Preferred: familiarity with accessibility best practices and a commitment to following the company's accessibility standards and guidelines.
